    D&D 3E/3.5 The DMG: A CRITICAL HIT at 93.5%!

Morrus: Dissent (as defined in Merriam dictionary) is to publicly disagree with an official opinion, decision, or set of beliefs. Note "official". Dissent has a negative connotation. Anyway, my bad for showing my irk.

    D&D 3E/3.5 The DMG: A CRITICAL HIT at 93.5%!

By the way connersrpg, we're rating on THE book. Not what you want for D&D 5e or what it sets as a base for future books.

    D&D 3E/3.5 The DMG: A CRITICAL HIT at 93.5%!

Connorsrpg: Wow! I said most not all. Why do you even consider yourself in that category that I mentioned? Such fire back at me when it wasn't even directed at you...shucks. By the way, what else do you have at 5/5? Just curious. I'm not liberal with my ratings and if Dungeon World core gets a...

    D&D 3E/3.5 The DMG: A CRITICAL HIT at 93.5%!

Sick! Even Dungeon World received only a 75% rating... :( Edit: Is there a guideline for the ratings? Is there a percentile or weight associated? Anyway, it honestly doesn't matter...

    D&D 3E/3.5 The DMG: A CRITICAL HIT at 93.5%!

This is very wrong. Shadowrun Beginner Box set gets 75%, 13 True Ways get 91%, The Strange Core rulebook gets 91%, Numenera core rulebook gets 92%, 13th Age Core rulebook gets 86.5%, and here, DMG for D&D 5e gets 93.4% trending towards 94%?!!? Either most of those who reviewed this are too...

    Sure - will PM you.

The DUNGEON MASTER'S GUIDE is out today!

Nope. I only did a test modification of the goblin (that I plan to use in Lost Mine of Phandelver) race to make then like ants - following a queen goblin with worker goblins, soldier goblins and such. From steps 1 to 20, I only modify on step 1 (name), 4 (alignment), 5 (ability scores), 6...

The DUNGEON MASTER'S GUIDE is out today!

Yup..mine too Yes, mine too. Pages are wavy. On top of that, the binding wasn't very well done. The inner binding of the hardcover has creases (it wasn't glued down properly) and excessive glue are sticking some of the pages together.

The DUNGEON MASTER'S GUIDE is out today!

That portion of the book is pretty solid (unlike the first few chapters of the book which are fluff content, not useful at all). There are altogether 17 pages covering how to create a new monster or using an existing one (or combining a few) to make a new monster. There are 20 steps given...

    D&D 5th Edition Dungeon Master's Guide

3 out of 5 rating for D&D 5th Edition Dungeon Master's Guide PHB is a necessity to play D&D 5e. MM is packed from page to page, beginning to end information on monsters (duh) to play D&D 5e. DMG is packed with content and information but not all of it necessary to play D&D 5e. Too much fluff...

Got All 3 Books? Which One's Your Favourite?

For me, PHB is the best in advancing the D&D 5e concept and game. The other next most useful will be the MM. Lastly DMG. Why? PHB is mandatory for play. MM is packed with information for play from start to end but DMG contains certain amount (and to a large extent) of fluff. No doubt that there...

The DUNGEON MASTER'S GUIDE is out today!

Guys, admittedly that it is packed with content, information and optional rules but don't get your hope and expectations up too high - there are simply too much fluff and too high-level guidelines and information that will somehow make this one of the least used books of the three (PHB, MM and...

D&D 5E On the healing options in the 5e DMG

A god of war glorifies itself in war, the gory, violence and destruction it brings out. Its the same for god of knowledge and god of death. Remember a cleric prays to its deity for the power and it is granted when the deity believes that it is going to further its ends. If healing a fighter...

D&D 5E On the healing options in the 5e DMG

I totally agree with Robgrub and Sailor Moon - each character has a definitive or primary role to play. The fighter is a...well...fighter - he rolls up his sleeves and get into the fight - is this boring and stereotyping a class? The rogue is a stealth and utility class - he sneaks about, hangs...

    Your DMG Questions Answered!

What Nikosandros had shared thus far leaves a bad taste in my mouth - just felt that the content in the DMG isn't substantial enough unlike PHB and MM.

Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path

3 out of 5 rating for Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path As a first adventure path to the PF, it was very well received (since folks including me are hoping for a return to Dungeon adventure path such as Age of the Worm and Shackled City). However, after running the adventures, it felt sort...

Nothing about the options for hit points and healing??!!! I'm flabbergasted! :(

D&D 5E What Campaign Setting(s) Do You Want To See in 5E?

Keep Mystara out of 5e - it is too sacred for a remake (e.g. Like the original star wars series). I'll wish for (not in any order) Greyhawk, Dark Sun, Eberron, Forgotten Realms (duh!) and a new setting. Krynn (or better known as dragonlance), if tastefully done, will be welcome too but...

Pathfinder Act 1 hardcover ready. Seeking volunteers for final pass proofreading.

Thanx a ton for the reply Morrus - guess I'll opt for the premium version but it's gonna make me much poorer for it :)

Pathfinder Act 1 hardcover ready. Seeking volunteers for final pass proofreading.

Anyone knows what is the difference between the premium and standard colour hardcover versions? Price-wise, there is a $35+ gap which is quite significant considering if the content are the same (by the way, I am already a subscriber to the PDF - just wanted to buy the hardcover print book)
