And then on top of all that, the playtest Warlock had a better smite than the Paladin.
(They'd better have turned Eldritch Smite into a bonus-action spell for the final version.)
If the playtest versions of GWM and SS hold, then the Fighter's top-end nova potential will take a large hit. (And no, weapon mastery isn't making that up; weapon mastery improves baseline damage across the board but the top-end nova will still be far less.)
Also all of the revised Conjure...
I cannot imagine anyone preferring the 2014 Barbarian over this version. Like, the 2014 Barbarian was barely a functional class in any regard. But more power to you if you were OK with that.
Polearm Mastery, I'll give you, but TWF is actually better for Paladins this time around, for two big reasons:
1. The Nick Weapon Mastery, which keeps your bonus action available.
2. Paladins now get the whole range of Fighting Style feats to pick from in-class. That includes TWF.

IF Magical Secrets still works like it did in 5e. That's a big if since they obviously tried to change how it, and Bard spellcasting in general, works. Of course that was back when you had the three general lists, so who knows what happened to it since.
(IMO, Magical Secrets should be limited...
Honestly? If you think about it, Devotion Sacred Weapon and Vengeance Vow of Enmity now effectively activate like the old Smite did. And of course you get those powers a lot more often because you get more Channel Divinities. That's actually pretty damn cool. Actually rather makes up for the...
If Emil Pagliarulo is still there, TES VI is gonna flop story- and writing-wise. Guaranteed. None of the pre-existing lore will alleviate that. Hell, Skyrim's writing, also Pagliarulo's work, already marked a sharp decline from its predecessors.
I mean, there's a whole lot of things BG3 does very, very well, which means people are going to like it for a lot of different reasons.
Speaking for myself, I can say the combat mechanics are a fairly significant part of why I like it. I can also say the city of Baldur's Gate itself was a...
Kinda wondering if Larian's decision to move on from Baldur's Gate was the final straw here. On top of everything else, of course (OGL, Pinkertons, etc.).
I will always push back against caster supremacy, and doubly so against proposals that EXACERBATE that problem. The disrespect was 100% intentional. Cope.
