Converting psionics to the Vancian casting system never made sense to me, it ruined the flavor of Psionics working differently. If anything, divine magic/miracles also should have been a different system than Vancian arcane magic.

The authors probably don't want to spend the time on it either and don't think it would increase their sales as much by putting the work in.

It can be easy to convert thing between editions/forks, but it would be nice to see more conversions in order to help save time.

There are several OSR zines on dtrpg. You can usually find one for the retro-clone of choice that's compatible for the original system you're looking for.

I would very much like D&D content based on Chinese cultures to be developed by people of those cultures. I haven't found anything along those lines yet though.
