guys....I thought I clicked on the "WotC layoff" thread....not the "what I see wrong with 4e" Thread. I get that the veer into 4e complaints started from the observation that James is still employed while others have been let go. But I think that point has been made and has now...been expanded...

Wow...really sad to see Rich let go like this. I met him at GenCon back in the day while helping at the Birthright game in the TSR castle, and had many a good exchange on the AOL TSR boards about Birthright. Birthright is still my favorite campaign world and I have always enjoyed his work...

Agreed. The 5e threads should not be in the 4e section. They fit much better under general.

So, I'm starting a new Hunters game and I'm looking for spooky/scary mood music suggestions. Currently I have soundtracks for Signs, Last temptation of Christ, and Diablo II. Any other good suggestions to get my players in the right mood?

Was just reading this on Ars Technica: Metro-style Internet Explorer 10 ditches Flash, plugins Wonder what effect this is gonna have on the programs as they both use silverlight. It's not a big problem now, but if Windows tablets become popular it could be an issue down the road.

question: I watched the Neverwinter 4 days of Gencon vid (http://www.enworld.org/forum/general-rpg-discussion/309687-four-days-gen-con-video-features-upcoming-neverwinter-campaign.html) and in it one of the WotC guys mentions that the book is geared for levels 1-10. You see anything in there...

saw it this weekend with the kids. Really liked it. There were also some great one liners in there. My favorite was Tommy Lee Jones, after Steve passes the last test, looks to the Prof and Grunts:"Humph....he's still too skinny."

so far....I like it. And disagree that Batman is a "superior" character. Much different than Batman, but hardly inferior. I think comparing the two is like apples to oranges really....

My thought exactly.... There's like, what, four different cliffhangers?!?! I'm actually kinda mad about it. It was a good read, but to end it the way he did and the prospect of another 4-6 years before the next book......

if you are going to drop the bloodline score, are you also gonna scrap the realm level of the game? I know some people hated it, but I always liked it and so did my players.
