ZEITGEIST Adventures in ZEITGEIST is Here!

Ooh, good find. Usually I’m on top of anagrams, but I missed this one.

ZEITGEIST Adventures in ZEITGEIST is Here!

Very cool to see some of the PCs from the various campaign logs make it into the official canon. #TeamGalienor

D&D (2024) "The Future of D&D" (New Core Books in 2024!)

in the article: Glad to see they are still mining the corpse of 4E for "new" ideas.

ZEITGEIST How did the demonocracy begin?

My assumption was Golden Legion as well, but this may have been caused by an accidental conflation of demons and devils at some point in the past. I think it’s intentionally vague enough, like the Clergy gods, that you can fill in the blanks with whatever works best for your table.

    ZEITGEIST 5e vs. 4e Zeitgeist?

I got a 4e/pathfinder bundle a long time ago. When I did my 5e conversion (before the official one), I used the pathfinder one a lot because it was easier to compare. I believe RangerWickett said they used the Pathfinder one to build the official 5e conversion

    ZEITGEIST 5e vs. 4e Zeitgeist?

I found 4e to be more colorful, for the reasons mentioned above. In fact, when I ran a 5e campaign years later, I kept referencing my 4e campaign book to bring in the more characterful features of the 4e enemies to their 5e builds. So much of the charm for me as DM was reading out the flavor...

    ZEITGEIST 5e vs. 4e Zeitgeist?

We had already done an Epic Tier 4e campaign (Scales of War) and no one had the energy to manage that many powers and "Once per day when you die..." abilities. We hadn't tried 5e yet and everyone wanted to, so we did a 6-month jaunt into Ravenloft to get acclimated and then came back to start...

    ZEITGEIST 5e vs. 4e Zeitgeist?

I have run it through adventure 9 in 4e, then homebrewed 5e for the final 4 adventures to finish that campaign, then ran it again with official 5e material through adventure three (jumping around some) for another campaign that fell apart. I find that the stuff that was originally written for...

ZEITGEIST A post-Zeitgeist campaign (spoilers for Zeitgeist, Saltmarsh, PotA, Avernus, and now War of the Burning Sky)

It's definitely based on the book that just came out, written by multiple authors of color. I have almost no 1st edition knowledge of Golarion, and it sounds like I'm happier for it...

ZEITGEIST A post-Zeitgeist campaign (spoilers for Zeitgeist, Saltmarsh, PotA, Avernus, and now War of the Burning Sky)

Working on some map updates to incorporate a hundred years of "progress" and the incorporation of lore from yet another fantasy world.

ZEITGEIST A post-Zeitgeist campaign (spoilers for Zeitgeist, Saltmarsh, PotA, Avernus, and now War of the Burning Sky)

No worries; it's been pretty quiet in here. This is the most excitement we've had in a while.

ZEITGEIST A post-Zeitgeist campaign (spoilers for Zeitgeist, Saltmarsh, PotA, Avernus, and now War of the Burning Sky)

Welp, just after this plan, the group decided they wanted to try Pathfinder 2e. No, seriously. So, I'm running some Pathfinder adventures to get acclimated. Wedged into this post-post-Zeitgeist homunculus of a world I have going now. This is probably not very relevant to Zeitgeist content at...

    ZEITGEIST Draçon de Mer

Yeah, that’s a bad map. As I recall (it’s been 8 years or so), I just used a random ship map I already had that made more sense, with cabins fore and aft, etc.

ZEITGEIST [Zeitgeist] Inverting the order of module 1 with module 2

I did this with one of my campaigns and it worked great until the group fell apart. Actually, I mixed them together a bit. I started with some "random" cases to get them used to the Zeitgeist/RHC mindset, using some of the threads from adventure 2, then had them get assigned to the Coaltongue...

ZEITGEIST [SPOILERS] Not understanding the Axis Seal...

The assumptions I made for my game: - Solar systems are not the natural state of the Zeitgeist universe/galaxy/whatever. I like how this plays off the players’ assumptions of how space works. They see a solar system and use their out-of-game 21st-century science knowledge to assume all the...

Introducing Hexblade Warlock on Axis Island

The Arsenal of Dhebisu is also a solid pick. There’s some info in the players guide and more info in Diaspora, I believe.
