    4th Edition Druid (complete)

I agree on this point. Can my druid not accomplish all that already if you have the powers available for it? I'm actually still considering this myself now that you mention it.

    4th Edition Bard

Well considering the fact that the two builds I made for the class are spellblade and the musician. I think it makes perfect sense. So unless you're suggesting to change the name to "entertainer" or suggesting a new build, you really aren't helping much. Did you just miss that part of my post...

    4th Edition Druid (complete)

The elemental path is semi-controllerish. Most of the powers are about knocking people prone and immobilizing them. Druids are leaders, due to the fact that they can heal and assist their allies. This was true in 3rd edition and it should be in 4th. However just because they have the label...

    4th Edition Bard

Clerics could turn undead more than once per encounter too in 3.5. But not anymore. Bardic music is supposed to not be as powerful as channel divinity powers. A bard can have 90 encounters and use bardic music each time as long as he had 5 mins to rest in between battles. Considering most of...

    4th Edition Druid (complete)

Here is my crack at the druid. I'll try to eventually format the class for the forums, but until then download the pdf from http://www.badongo.com/file/9999663. Thanks in advance for critique, flames, questions, comments, machine guns and obviously feedback.

    4th Edition Bard

Thats odd, if you like I could e-mail it to you. Or I could stop being lazy and update the thread. Hmmm, decisions decisions.

    4th Edition Bard

See the at will Cleric power called "sacred flame" p63. The target gets an option between gaining temp hit points or a saving throw. Thus, the bard power does a little bit more damage than the cleric, but is not as versatile. If you think its unbalanced go strangle a cleric first. ;)

    4th Edition Bard

A very valid point, I believe the origial concept was to tie the bard into the depths of the arcane more like a wizard studies his books, a bard finds songs and when he sings or plays them in the right way, magic happens. But considering I didn't give them a ritual book to start off with, It...

    4th Edition Bard

Its more of a flavor thing that I wanted to go for. Does it really matter that its called a spellsong vs a plain old spell? Not really, its just a name. And you are correct, it has 0 effect on mechanics.

    4th Edition Bard

Probably because I never really actually considered game design before. I'm glad you enjoy it. I'd appreciate any feedback or stories that arise from your use of the class. Now that you mention that, none of my 3 dnd groups wish to play 4th edition. The main excuses they give me is:"none of my...

    4th Edition Bard

Those are really good ideas. I might think of incorporating them into base class rather than just make it a feat. Anyways for those who requested a pdf, here's the link to the new draft. http://www.badongo.com/file/9985993

The only one would be the shadowdancer paragon path. That was an oversight. Thanks for pointing it out.

Its apparently a formatting error for the epic tier, unsure why it displayed that way. I think I got them all.
