    D&D 5E D&DNext WotC Adventures

Hey thanks for the detailed reply! I'm going to be reading through the last two on the list regardless...but looks like Legacy might be the way to go. Good work with all the GURPS and DF mentions...I'm a big fan and glad to see there's still some love out there for it :D

    D&D 5E D&DNext WotC Adventures

Thanks, yeah I hadn't really read anything good about this one. "A lot more preparation" is really unfortunate as at my age time is not something I have a lot of. I'll give Scourge a read through though. I'll read this one too. Thanks again!

Correct me if I'm wrong, in published date order: Ghosts of Dragonspear Castle Murder in Baldur's Gate Legacy of the Crystal Shard Scourge of the Sword Coast That's all right? I've read a few reviews of the first two, but has anyone played the last couple and are they any good? I'm thinking...

D&D 5E Will you pay $50.00 for the "standard" PHB?

Haha, not really. The nice beers, from my experience, are most likely from the US. Or perhaps Denmark. Not Singapore. Although it's better here than you would imagine. Also Melbourne has some good locally brewed ales. I mean, you know, just FYI. But seriously, I can see why people would balk at...

D&D 5E Will you pay $50.00 for the "standard" PHB?

I just spent more than $50 on beer. In about 1 hour. PHB here I come!!!! :o

    D&D 5E Splitting your Move - The Move-Attack-Move Dynamic

I don't really like this popping out of cover without penalty ("cool story bro" I hear you say). Personally I feel using ranged weapons is overall just too easy. I would house rule this so that you're at -2 to hit (or something, disadvantage perhaps?) unless you take a turn to aim. So you can...

Dude, just close it. Someone confused Kre-O (never even *heard* of it). with Lego...LEGO!!! Shameful.

D&D 4E What I miss about 4e (my preferences of course)

Correct. I wasn't trying to imply that it was unbalanced, just that that description makes me think "overpowered!"...which is just not my style of D&D/Fantasy RPG game. I don't doubt that 4E has some really good things going for it, and I certainly hope they're not thrown out with what seems...

D&D 4E What I miss about 4e (my preferences of course)

Yeah, that does sound cool. Honestly, I don't even know what this sentence means. Ok, starting to sound overpowered. Descriptions like this reinforce why I avoided 4E. That's the game for you, but it's so far away from the version of D&D I want to play. Which is fine – I didn't complain...

    Legends & Lore: Clas Groups

You're probably right Defcon, but moving Monk to PRIESTS gives 3 classes to each category, symmetry! LOL Oh and what you said about using multiclassing for straddling two class groups, I couldn't agree more.

    Legends & Lore: Clas Groups

Heh, fair enough. Yeah, I don't know what those things (Arcane Archer, Hexblade) are...shows my vintage :D

    Legends & Lore: Clas Groups

Frosty, I agree with Stromonu – a monk is a type of priest. Yeah they can bash people up and sneak around, but that's because of their dedication to a higher calling. Rock on.
