I just want to know how many of those remakes have cameos by Bronson Pinchot.

TYL that Guinness World Records only apply to things that have been specifically submitted to them for review and that they choose to adjudicate/include.

D&D General Bought a brick of the 50th Anniversary minis :(

You can also wait until a set has been out for a while and WizKids marks them down to half price.

    Media D&D Realms Maps

Domain was created 3 months ago, nobody's ever heard of you, then suddenly you appear with piles and piles of seemingly high quality art (though the maps are all over the place with regards to scale and perspective), and you're incredibly cagey with your answers, all while claiming to be...

    Help finding replacement trash show

The Decameron on Netflix is a period piece (well, sort of). And even though it takes place during the plague it's not really a drama (more of a dark comedy). But it is trashy in the best way possible.

Follow-up: Longshoreman Strike Ends After Three Days

Oh well, even if it's not affected by the strike I've now got enough milk in the fridge to last me through the winter.

Cosmere Overtakes Avatar Legends To Become Biggest TTRPG Kickstarter Ever!

Woah, when did I miss that this was going to be a podcast??? ;) It's a great entry point. I blew through those 3 books maybe 12 or 13 years ago and loved them. Finally got around to the Wax and Wayne books this summer and am wondering why I'd put them off for so long. The only thing holding me...

Free League forcing Alchemy VTT to remove PDFs - Anti-consumer behaviour?

When the deal first went live, there was a blurb in the Bundle Details section on HB (right side of the screen on desktop just under the charity info – no clue where it appears on mobile) that specifically said that PDF downloads were also available for those who would like to use the content...

    D&D (2024) D&D Player's Handbook Video Redactions & Takedowns

Well, it's certainly not a good thing that their Creator Relations Team is seemingly unaware that we're in DST at the moment (they should have specified the embargo lift time as PDT).

Olympics Talk: A brief discussion before it goes away

You're in luck because that's pretty much what it will be. Watched a little primer video on Peacock about it and the competitors have no idea what music they'll get. So improvisation is one of the categories they're scored on, and it's done in a 1v1 round robin format.

    D&D (2024) D&D Player's Handbook Video Redactions & Takedowns

Guess I shouldn't be surprised that Parmandur thumbed a post that gets the fundamentals of IP law completely wrong... Edit: And now he's removed it.

    Good alternatives to proper miniatures?

Lots of good advice here. I'm going to suggest seeing if you can find a cheap copy of Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion to steal parts from. At one point places like Amazon and Target had it for as low as $15, but those days may be gone. It has a good selection of cardboard standees and 4 plastic...

    Question about OSE's box sets

This approach actually works if you got everything that was available in the first KS. Along with the original Classic Box, he also printed the Advanced Genre Rules (character classes) and Druid & Illusionist Spells, which both fit into the original extra deep box.
