Nope, they actually let you put in your log-in name and password, instead of resetting it to guest like it has since GenCon. If you're still having the username field reset to guest, try clearing your cache. That might help.

I wonder if it will be possible to playtest while utilizing the virtual tabletop. I don't have access to a group to play with currently (I live in Oman) but I do have a group elsewhere that I could play with via VTT. Would I be able to playtest?

I really like this idea. In my mind, wands should be useful in that they empower the spells cast by the wielder of the wand. Yeah, sort of Harry Potter-ish, I know, but that's what I've always wished wands would do. And now, it seems that D&D wands will do just that. Cool beans.
