How do you feel about players bringing custom gear (from existing characters) into your game? I'd like to award my players with some custom gear, but not sure how welcome it would be in other campaigns. -"Did he really just try to pickpocket that dragon?"

I swear that I saw a runepriest feat or spell that caused over healing to become temporary hit points. Am I losing my mind, or does such a thing exist?
