I would vote no because falling damage is environmental damage, and the Stoneskin spell specifically mentions weapon damage when explaining the DR.

Thanks Jason. Agreed. Especially now that publishers are no longer bound by book format (sorry for the pun). PDFs provide lots of design opportunities without being constrained by page counts and printing costs. Internet tools are possible too, though I'm not sure if those would be profitable.

How do you use MapTool, Caudor? What's giving you the benefits? I've downloaded it, but am scratching my head over its best use.

What about an intelligent unholy weapon that buffs its user? That way, evil minions can pick it up mid-combat when the current owner dies, but the weapon is a tad bit uncomfortable for good aligned PCs to wield.

Have there been any rules or systems crafted for harvesting monster body parts, whether for magic item creation, spell components, crafting, or treasure? I've got a low magic game going and would like to use dead monsters as a treasure source somehow.

Yes, good call. Sorry, I should have framed my response better. That list is good for encounter seeds - ideas for encounters to grow from. Pick one idea from the list, then use it to inspire the rest of the encounter design.
