Legends of Grayskull is no longer in active development. Dire Wolf is focusing on Tales of Xadia and looking into new projects, but never say never. It's not on my desk right now, long story short.

Our goal is to not only meet that previous bar, but keep working on exceeding it. My whole team is very happy with this new home!

Marvel Heroic Roleplaying, the game I designed at Margaret Weis Productions, didn’t require a lot of narrative to handle both Thor and Black Widow on the same team. The game directly supported that and it worked really well based on the positive feedback we kept getting about it. Cheers, Cam

Cortex uses opposed rolls by default, it's one of the things that makes the system work the way it does. It doesn't really slow things down. Most of the time a 5e combat takes much longer than its equivalent in Cortex, because the rolls in Cortex generally cover a lot more or handle a lot more...
