Oh I see what you mean. A cow and an Ox are raised differently (an Ox being more of a Beast of burdern than Dairy cows and meat cattle), while the Stench Kow is a classic D&D monster. The Rothe appears to be the Forgotten Realms Equivalent to a "giant" cow.

It's probably a good idea to have some bags of hp monsters, however. If they have too many distinct abilities, it becomes more cumbersome to run when you need more of them. Oftentimes monsters with special abilities will also need you to use them in order to be fighting at proper efficiency...
