    Dilreen's Magic Aura

Hmmm... I had never noticed these slight differentiations between overwhelming auras in the detect spells and powers. What is most striking is the Detect Psionics power, which, especially if you are under the Psionics-Magic Transparency rule (the default rule btw), it works exactly like Detect...

Rope Trick VS Discern Location... Rope Trick wins!!!

So we agree to disagree.:) This is not "location naming". You are providing coordinates here. Discern Location is not a GPS. It simply gives you names, from big to small. That's all the spell says. I "used the zoom out" example in my previous post to explain how the information (location...

Rope Trick VS Discern Location... Rope Trick wins!!!

...and I said that in my first post.

Rope Trick VS Discern Location... Rope Trick wins!!!

This is where I strongly disagree. Discern location does not give "everything" to find the place. It gives you location names. If the locations happen to be named, that is fine, if not...well the caster was unlucky. Example: You are in the middle of a vast desert and someone casts Discern...

Rope Trick VS Discern Location... Rope Trick wins!!!

I don't think that RAW is fuzzy in this case. Discern Location clearly zooms in from something as abstract as the Plane, down to a specific location. It clearly states that it gives Location names. Giving descriptions of entrances and exits and about where they lead, is beyond the spells...

It's not included in the Detect Magic description... but perhaps you can share your source?

    Glamered armour question

I think you are confusing two different things. First off, magical items are supposed to fit the user. This means, that the same set of Glamered armor can be worn by a Human, a Gnome, a Troll, a Thri Kreen...or whatever have you. Each time, the magical armor adjusts to the size of the one...

He must have mistaken it for Detect Undead, cause powerful undead can stun you.

Rope Trick VS Discern Location... Rope Trick wins!!!

Ok, so Rope trick says: ...and Discern Location says: Without a doubt, Discern Location can find someone hidden in a Rope Trick. Rope Trick specifies that it DOES NOT protect against divinations that work across planes, and Discern Location DOES work across planes. Moreover, Discern...

The Monk isn't MAD... he's ENRAGED!!!!

...one morning, you 'll hesitantly move one curtain to the side, so as to get a glimpse of the rapidly aging outside world... This, will be your undoing.

    Dilreen's Magic Aura

To do that, it would mean that you are in the epic levels... minimum 21. At this point... if it's my spell's fault that the game is broken... so be it.:D ... Don't forget that the SRD Magic Aura lets you emulate an overwhelming aura from level 1!!! At least my spell makes you wait until the...

    Recharge Magic and Reserve feats

you should go 4th!!! (...ok bad joke). Bad joke or not, reserve feats WERE indeed the harbingers of 4th edition... *sigh*...anyway I'm 1000% with Drowbane on this one. Wizards SHOULD suffer greatly, especially if they picked damage spells only:)... in which case reserve feats will come...

    Dilreen's Magic Aura

OP UPDATED I added: You can alter the school of magic, and the aura's power as per Detect Magic's table, with the only restriction being that you cannot emulate an aura stronger than the one you are affecting. For example, if you are altering a "Strong" Aura, you can emulate a "Faint"...

    Dilreen's Magic Aura

Well, in that respect, the SRD Magic Aura is somewhat broken, so your remark was not as off.

The Monk isn't MAD... he's ENRAGED!!!!

Another setback the monk has is the following: I think these sort of debates make some (if any...) sense only in case if PVP fights. You put two characters in an arena and you let them work it out. If this is the case, yes the prepared Wizard is unbeatable. As for sneaking up on a...
