Do Illusions show up in mirrors?

I would say 'yes' as well, and I agree with Delta; a phantasm, despite being mental, would appear in the victims mind in the mirror. A more discerning question would be; which would appear in a photograph? To this I would respond, 'all but the phantasm'.

Extradimensional Spaces within Extradimensional Spaces? Always dangerous or not?

The rules on this topic are inconsistent, incomplete and legacy driven. My suggestion is to decide how it works in your campaign, and use it for everything. The obvious mechanics are: 1. Any XDS inside another XDS works just fine. 2. Any XDS inside another XDS fails to work. 3. Any XDS inside...

Does an elf poop in the woods?

The reason ‘prestidigitation’ is the first spell all my spellcasters learn! Totally agree! A couple of points to consider: Human waste is incredibly toxic, and in order to use it as a fertilizer, it needs to be heavy diluted. Elves may not have this problem. One of the reasons human waste...

    A grab of of Questions...

Ah! That's what we are here for! :) The just a brief run down for you then: Astral and Shadow are coterminous with all other planes (and coexistent with each other), including the Inner Planes (IIRC they weren't in 1e/2e). The Ethereal is coexistent with the plane from which it extends, but...

    A grab of of Questions...

    a) It was a side-note to indicate contrast, and what NOT to do – I have played under several DMs who would have ruled that way… b) My second response was because I though you were taking an actual stance on the subject rather than just trolling… c) Not upset, just perplexed as to where you...

    A grab of of Questions...

What make you say this? According the the Manual of the Planes, "...the plane of shadows is coterminous to other planes..." (MoP, pg 59) and specifically "...the plane of shadows is coexistent with the astral plane..." (Mop, pg 61). I would say, IMHO, that the Shade is fully functional in the...

I'm not too sure where you are going here  Sounds like argument for argument sake... I actually have no interest in exploring what 'Some DMs' may do in their games; I've played, and quit, quite enough of those...

    Staggering Strike

Wish totally nailed it when he made this comment. The BIG advantage of this feat is that it stops the iterative attacks of an opponent. That in and of itself can speed things up (if that what you are worried about). To be really honest, it only seems to come up every 2nd combat or so (undead...

Nice! I think I will need to steal that for my WFRP game. A friend and I have been wanting to play an OA game with the characters Sosume & Cha Ching.

    Staggering Strike

Yep, plays as written, no further errata. My monk/rogue currently has this feat and it's great! Edit: Why is it not too good/broken? It only leaves the opponent staggered - they still get to take a standard action: attack (but not full), cast a spell, move (but then no attack), or potentially...

    A grab of of Questions...

To aid another on skill check would count as a skill check and would be governed by those rules (Combining Skill Attempts: Aid Another). To aid another on a melee attack is governed by the 'Special Attacks: Aid Another' rules and would most definitely break invisibility. As would all the other...

    A grab of of Questions...

Actually, I don't agree here. Damage potential is not the definition of an attack. I would say that attempting to escape via an opposed grapple check would break invisibility (it requires force), but by escape artist it wouldn't (it requires being 'squirmy'). On a RAW level, escaping a grapple...

    What should I buy

Yeah, I'll second that. The 1st ed. was good, the 2nd ed. is even better! M&M is as light on the d20 rules as you can be and still be d20. Yep, right the first time, it's FFG - Fantasy Flight Games. Mechamorphosis is about the only book in the Horizon line I don't own - an oversight! The rest...

Whats going on in your game?

The Eberron campaign in which I have been playing has just completed a couple of story arcs: We recovered an airship that was lost during the Last War, and saved Sharn from a manifest zone meltdown with Fernia - the final battle was over a lava lake deep in the cogs, with the bad-guy...

    What should I buy

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay - a great change of pace. The basic book is $39.99. And some of the books are currently on special (Lucky 7 Sale, for their 7th anniversary), specifically Tome of Corruption (my fav rpg book atm) for $27 (normally $39.99). That $66.99, $1.99 over your win fall!
