Weird I seem to remember that the stories centered around how I consistently foiled your grandiose plans and that I was an asset to our gaming group. That we would never have left the Tomb of Horrors alive if it wasn't for me. I mean he was my familiar after all.
If the girls want to come...
I enjoyed this as well. I got to know TU and Belen quite a bit better and had some fun playing poker.
I didn't mind what we did last year (find some open tables and play cards/munchkin/etc.) but would be up for anything.

Heh, no. I posted this before you picked a time, or at least before I saw the time that you slotted.
If Frukathka doesn't mind I would like to close out the weekend with him. Can you move me to 2-4 on Sunday?
I will also stay for tear down if I am permitted.
Keith announced on his blog that he will be revisiting these characters to tie up loose ends in the future. I am with you; I wanted to see more resolution.
I really enjoyed the series but the story could have been managed a little better.
I agree! He has 8 books IIRC. I am reading the 7th of 8 and it is great, as are all of his books.
I like Mike Stackpole as well. He did a fantastic job with the Xwing series.
Other than that they have been pretty hit and miss. Avoid Shatterpoint at all costs IMO.
There have been some good ideas in this thread so far!
As for me I would like to see support for some of the "dead" settings. I was actually talking with a friend and he had a great idea. What Wizards should do in terms of Dead settings is have each year be a theme. So for example 2007 would...
I am not sure where you got this information but I have not found it to be the case with Comodo. It was a breeze to setup and it is pretty much the same as Zone Alarm and the others. It tells you in a popup that something is trying to access the internet, explains what it is, and asks you to...
I see your point but I think that the big thing with the hardcovers is the supplemental material. As you know there is some material that has to get chopped or gets moved over to Dragon etc. The hardcover can have all of the supplemental information and more. Plus, there are some people who...
OK, first I hope there isn't a cross-thread. I searched and could not find one.
Second, happy birthday Monte! I hope you have a great day.
Third, I don't know if he even reads this board anymore. If he does, I hope he sees this.

I have it preordered and it was originally supposed to be out in November. It's release has been pushed back a third time and I am supposed to see it in the middle of January but we'll see.
Now that would be very interesting. Monte working for an MMO that is owned by White Wolf. That would fit with what he has said but I am not sure that is it.
Well speculation is that it will be d20 although that is not confirmed. Who the heck knows?
I am fairly certain it will be good, no matter what he does with it. Monte has done a great job with nearly everything he has done, I expect nothing but the best.
As to the comments above about Monte...
According to this thread and sort of confirmed by the White Wolf LJ, the new secret project is titled "A World of Darkness by Monte Cook". This will be Monte's last project as a game designer, at least for the time being. It was announced in a White Wolf seminar at GenCon Socal, supposedly by...
