Nope. A 4E character, that chooses the multi-classing feats, is JUST as competent with those new options as his or her original field. That's the beauty of it. Nothing is "lagging" behind.

I finally got through and managed to get an email sent off to ask what the status of my order was. Here's hoping I get a quick response. I have the gift set on order as well...with a gift certificate. If I have to, I'll cancel the pre-order on it, and order the 3 seperately. Stupid Amazon.

Mine hasn't shipped either, but says shipping estimate June 6th. However, the gift set on their site now says Shipping July 8th. I'm going to email them and ask what's going on. The core books by themselves are in stock.
