    Dispel Magic

To be completely honest, I kinda like this new version of Dispel Magic. Sure some of the diversity is gone, but it makes it a little faster in game. Really, my group rarely ever used Dispel Magic in 3e simply due to it's massive potential uses (and the huge amount of text explaining those...

    D&D 4E 4E at the Printers!

Oh, so only about 2-1/2 to 3 months left to wait. Really wish I had a Time Machine right about now... :(

I was unconsious 20 minutes ago, but I'm ok now..

100% agree. no, 1000% agree. I couldn't have said it better myself. D&D is a fantasy game, and because of that, it seems to be designed to support fantasy heroes. You're not just some dude walking down the street, retrieving some old lady's purse from a thief, and after a small scuffle, you have...

Search confirmation for metallic dragon absence from MM1

Agreed. In addition, with the streamlining of alignment in 4E, metallic dragons will supposedly be just as usable as enemies as chromatic dragons.

Raise Dead: A nice big bone to the simulationists

The Raise Dead explaination is good enough for me. Heroes come and go, some live and some die. But those who survive long enough in a world of danger transcend (go above 10th level) from the lives of just heroes and move forward to complete a heroic goal. If a hero falters in his steps, then the...

D&D 4E What will be your first 4E character?

Hmmm...probably a human cleric or human fighter.

    D&D 3E/3.5 Will you still play 3.5?

Not particularly sure yet, as I don't know if 4E will function as the designers have claimed, but if it does, then I will probably lay down my 3E PHB and retire it for good. Godspeed, 3E PHB...Godspeed. :( :D

    Non-Newtonian movement...

The issue was rarely raised, if ever, in my games. I think worrying about what can be considered minor details detracts from the roleplaying element of the game. However, as some of the other posters have already mentioned, the elf could always slow down a bit for the dwarf (which would indeed...

    Features

I hear that. At times, I've actually had people in my gaming group start reading magazines in the middle of the game as they waited for their turn. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Yes, faster, more exciting combat is a big plus, assuming WotC delivers, of course. :p

    The Cleric Pregen

Honestly, the cleric was one of my favorite classes in D&D 3E, at least conceptually. I didn't play one often due to the fact that, mechanically, I felt like I was only good for pretty much healing everyone, then trying to strike a foe next to me to no avail. The 4E cleric, however, seems to be...

Hi. I'm new here at Enworld. I've lurked around for some time now, so I thought it was time I just signed up and got it over with. ;) Anyways, for those of you who are eagerly awaiting 4E D&D, what do you think will be it's best feature? (ie. The redesigned classes, the possibility of easier...
