D&D 5E The Rhyot Break - Chapter One: Endless White

Faenala refuses to give up. When Gimlak moves, she moves to, accompanying him to always be between him and his target. In fact, she casts Mage's Hand and uses that to mess with his aim. When he tries to grapple her however, she becomes really violent, enraged in fact, and does anything necessary...

D&D 5E The Rhyot Break - Chapter One: Endless White

Faenala was disappointed that she didn't manage to do anything with the wolves, but at least they didn't try to bite her. That was still something… While they travelled, she took cover as best she could to avoid the falling snow, casting at regular intervals a Prestidigitation to keep her rags...

Why do I always get crappy rolls? Seriously...

D&D 5E The Rhyot Break - Chapter One: Endless White

Faenala wasn't interested in anything the sled could carry anyway since it was unlikely to have any kind of clothes that would fit her, even remotely. And since she could use her prestidigitation spell to keep her clothes... her rags... dry and warm, mostly anyway, it didn't matter all that...

D&D 5E The Rhyot Break - Chapter One: Endless White

Faenala was rather pleased by the consequences of her little illusion. In fact, she hadn't dared hope it would go that well. But now with the Korrud on the ground, and likely dead soon, she didn't have much to do. With so many wolves around, she thought it would be nice to befriend one of them...

D&D 5E The Rhyot Break (OOC) - Discussion

I went with my other idea instead. Could work better (or do nothing at all of course...)

D&D 5E The Rhyot Break - Chapter One: Endless White

For a time, Faenala was at a loss at what she could do. It had been proved that she was in no shape to really fight, all her attacks having flown far and wide. In fact, she might even be more dangerous to the other escapees than the slaver. She squinted, looking at the speeding sled, wondering...

D&D 5E The Rhyot Break (OOC) - Discussion

With the korrud having one hand busy with his alcohol, I'm thinking Faenala could try to pull a strap on the sled...if she can see one. Perception: 1D20+2 = [9]+2 = 11 That's not particularly great... If she doesn't see anything, I have another idea, a bit more complicated, but it could lead...

D&D 5E The Rhyot Break - Chapter One: Endless White

With a single word and a simple gesture, Faenala lit Gimlak's torch. She wasn't particularly approving of that plan, but not only it wasn't the right time for such a conversation, she didn't have much better to suggest. And it wasn't like it cost her a lot to light up a torch. In fact, after so...

Oh I'm in Japan myself, so that's not really my issue. I was mainly talking about it for 97mg :)

D&D 5E The Rhyot Break - Chapter One: Endless White

For a couple of seconds, Faenala looked at the Korrud's body as it lay in the ground. Now that he was dead, she didn't care about him anymore. She was a bit ambivalent about the fleeing wolf though: it wouldn't be a danger, but it wasn't a resource either. Not that she could use that herself...

D&D 5E The Rhyot Break (OOC) - Discussion

So, nothing to do with the game, but I was recently surprised to learn how true it is when one says that pretty much everything is out to kill you in Australia: apparently, now there are needles in strawberries... Maybe that's taking things a bit too far ^^

Why do I roll max damage if I always fail to hit? I think I'm cursed.

D&D 5E The Rhyot Break - Chapter One: Endless White

Not stopped by her first miss, Faenala prepared another Ray of Frost, still in the direction of the wolf. It didn't matter all that much considering that the alarm had already been raised, but it was still something to do. Alas, much like her first one, this ray also failed to hit its target...

So, still going in initiative order or in groups?

D&D 5E The Rhyot Break - Chapter One: Endless White

In most circumstances, Faenala would have ignored the wolf, simply glad she wouldn't have to try and avoid its teeth. But there and then... She was afraid it had been sent to carry news of they escape, something that would make their path to freedom that much harder to walk. So with a grimace, a...

Ok, will do. Question: the wolf that trotted away, did it stop nearby, or does it look like it will go away?

Should we post strictly following initiative, or go in groups (good guys, Korruds, good guys, etc.)?
