I SO hate it that we are episodes behind you in the states.

    War of the Ring

For anyone that can stomach the price, while the colelctors edition had sold out, there is a limited amount of inventory at the FFG online store now. The pics I've seen have been amazing - but $400 for a boardgame.....ooof!

    War of the Ring

I was tempted to sit back and just watch the exchange of ideas as I received much more feedback than I had anticipated - but I wanted to thank everyone for their comments. You did convince me to take the plunge (unfortunately I have to wait on the reprint which is currently tagged at 2Q 2010)...

    War of the Ring

So I'm tempted to buy this game because I love the source material and the FFG production values. Having said that, the FFG rules are hit or miss for me - I hated Warcraft TBG and Marvel Superheroes, but loved the Warhammer cardgame and Descent. I saw the Boardgamegeek entry which looks...

    FGII version question

FGII for ftf I've used FGII at the table and it works very well for the uses you've described (tracking conditions, initiative etc.). It's also very useful if you have the adventure available (like EugeneZ's WOTBS conversions) because then everything is readily searchable and available to you...

    Tabletop Projection Article on NeoGrognard.com

Looks like you have a great game going! I love the concept of using a projector and have ever since steelwind started his greatest setup evar thread - I just wish I could find an easier way to mount my projector. The wife will kill me if I make holes in the cealing or attach a mirror. I've...

    FGII version question

Great! Im running a new group through and they just became blades of the resistance. It's easy enough to add manually, but I like having the power on the sheet and Im ....shall we say "challenged" as far as basic coding skill goes.

    FGII version question

Eugene, The FG II conversions continue to be great -thanks for all the hard work. Had you converted any of the powers/feats from the players guide?

    [TV] Doctor Who

I came to the new Dr Who run during Tennant's run after being "somewhat" familiar with the program from back in the day. Why is Eccleston definitely out? I know he only did the one season but wasn't watching at the time to know why he didn't come back.

Interview with Pramas-chu; or "Green Ronin & DC Interview"

DC Line and adventure support somewhat related to the earlier question regarding the continuing of the relationship - will adventures be published?

    PC Opening-FGII-Sun 7-10 EST

Looking for a 5th player for an online WOTBS campaign using 4th Edition rules. VTT is FGII. We will be entering our 4th session so it's still early in the campaign. Drop a line if you're interested or care for more details.

WotBS Fantasy Grounds 2 Version of WotBS

Scouring mod -revised? Eugene, With some of the WOTBS modules having been revised, are your FG modules revised as well? Having said that - using the scouring as an example - how can you readily tell what revisions were made between the original and R1?

    Online Parcel Generator

I remember coming across an online treasure parcel generator (4E) sometime ago and can't seem to find it again (Ive come across a few downloadables - but not the online version I remember). Anyone have one they especially like?

Help me make WotC adventures better.

For me, the key to a better WOTC adventure is to focus on the reason I buy published adventures in the first place - to save prep time. Every writer, I think, strives to create an engaging story. Success will vary, but what does the adventure have to make my life easier? 4e is tactial - are...

    Fantasy Grounds II

The latest version of FGII has the 4e ruleset as a built-in option. If you run the updater when you launch the program, you can select the 4e ruleset as the base when creating your campaigns. Admittedly, the rules content (phb, mm, etc) is another matter, but there are ways to create these...

    Fantasy Grounds II

Can't say how much interest there is generally, but having used several different vtt's (GRiP, OpenRPG, Klooge, and FGII) I think FGII has the most active community out there. Admittedly a matter of opinion. If you're interested in Living Forgotten Realms, we have a a Yahoo group at RPGA_Group...

    Fantasy Grounds

EugeneZ put the Fantasy Ground mods together with the WOTBS material. He did a great job. I ran the first adventure with his material and it went smoothly until real life crippled my playing time. If you get a chance, I'd definitely recommend running the game on FG - it was a blast.

I love you WotC! (DM Rewards Stuff)

I've sanctioned home games with 4 - Im fairly certain that is also the required minimum number. I love the condition cards! I seem to recall people talking about the cards possibly being packaged for retail sale as well...any idea if this is the case? I'd love to have them for each of my...
