    Superhero Media: How much longer?

Well yeah. I said depending on the State. Personality rights are not Federal law. Only State level. Now, it being broadcast in nation/worldwide theaters does make me wonder. And I would hazard a guess that someone got the rights to use his likeness from someone/somewhere. Meaning he got the...

    Superhero Media: How much longer?

Well yeah. He is dead. Consent in that regard is no longer really needed depending on the State in the US. And if it is covered in whatever state... I guess his likeness was created in? Who know how that bit works. Then they got the rights to use that likeness somewhere.

    WONDER WOMAN 2: 1984 Official Trailer (2020)

I am not sure. 1, 3, and half of 2 I agree with. I am more ruffled about how he is there than just willing to accept it. Maybe it was the music? Maybe I didn't like that winged suit, or thought the swinging from lightning was just too much? I just don't know.

    Superhero Media: How much longer?

Ah ok. I can probably deal with that then, I must have misinterpreted what you were getting at when you invoked Irishman. But you mean more of like, Grand Moff Tarkin or young Leia from Rogue One.

    WONDER WOMAN 2: 1984 Official Trailer (2020)

Mmmmmm. This doesn't... really... tickle my fancy. I am not sure why.

    Superhero Media: How much longer?

No please. Just no. Watching 60+ old men try and pretend to be 20 years younger was not something appealing from the ridiculously long Irishman. Just. Get. Younger. Actors. Deep fake them if you need to I guess, but if you need someone around the 30s or 40s, get someone who is around that, and...

Looking for a good Sci-fi setting

I don't know that there is a book for it, but probably some info. I have been considering one in the Bebop universe for some time. I think it would certainly fit finite space, loose fluff that can be built upon, and small ship crew out to make it big.

“Oh, Really?”, a possible fifth Force in the universe...

While I agree with and appreciate what Umbran says... I am still planning on making a monster for my campaign called "Umbran - Destroyer of dreams". Probably a cool Eldritch horror type of thing.

[TRAILER] Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Nope. No kids yet, and I don't live near Florida. If either of those things were different, I would probably check it out.

D&D 5E 5E Wizard: BladeSinger vs. dip Cleric, feat help

Regardless, a Wizard is going to have lower HP. Bladesinger can help minimize the times you will get hit. And from experience, having an initiative that high, you are probably going to be able to set the tone for most of the battles you are in. Going 1st is big in 5e.

[TRAILER] Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Movie still looks interesting. Get to see it through work at a pre-release, so nice. Get a free ticket, and meal out of it for the small price of listening to a pitch on product.

    2000-2009 Aging Badly?

Ummm... I am not sure I understand this. Yes, I can see how Jackass hasn't aged well. But was it good in the first place? Subway still seems fine to me. Of course eating at a fast food sandwich shop isn't as healthy as making it yourself. Jared is long gone, and I think the company has pretty...

    D&D 5E Grappling Rune Knight

Makes simple sense to me. Yes, I am stabbing you with my shortsword, but because I have my arm around your neck, I am also squeezing that neck dealing additional d4. All that happens on the same turn. And now, you can easily replace that shortsword with just punches or knees, or kicks, or a...

WotC Peter Adkison: A Letter on Leaving WotC

Unless you have some facts that state otherwise, it looks like a person who realized his driving influence in a company he ran has finally begun to wane after selling it. That does happen. There can be resignations that are just that. But again, if you have some insider information that says...

D&D General Mechanics you DO want to see return

I want shields as a weapon that was tooled around with in the playtest. Why for so long, has there been this reluctance to let a sword and board bash with the heavy wooden or metal object in his/her offhand? They came so close in 5e from fulfilling something I have wanted for what seems like...

WotC Peter Adkison: A Letter on Leaving WotC

Yeah, I don't think he is paying attention. Or he is having some 'in' conversation with himself.

When another player builds a clone of your character.

Before our long standing group new that session 0 was a thing, we ran into something like this. It wasn't really a clone all the time really, but we did have a player who was a big fan of one-upping. I do feel a little annoyed if I dump a lot of character creation into being the sneaking...

WotC Peter Adkison: A Letter on Leaving WotC

Are those bad jokes, or people who didn't read and understand this was 19 years ago, and a resignation, not a firing?
