    What rules? The only thing I can find is what's written in the book, and that wording is completely ambiguous. (Specifically, "use" could refer to either placing the effect or getting the extra damage.) By the way, the Paladin's multiclass has the same problem.

    I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Both can be used at range, with no restrictions whatsoever. In fact, twin strike can hit two creatures (instead of two attacks vs one creature), which is good for clearing minions. The two don't even have to be near each other!

    A better analysis would be a comparison of AC/Defenses to level, by role. Note that the DMG gives a formula, which may or may not be accurate: level + 12 for F/R/W, level + 16 for soldier AC, level + 12 for brute/artillery AC, level + 14 for other AC.

    20 Int? If you wear light armor, you add Dex/Int to your AC. If you wear heavy armor, you don't. So the plate armor isn't giving your +7 AC (or whatever, I don't have the books), it's giving you +2 AC, because you had +5 from not wearing armor.

    Agreed. Ever see someone casually walk around in combat? Only in bad TV shows where they're completely overpowered, I assure you. The 6-square speed is the fastest you can go while still keeping control; the +2 from run is your physical max (or close to it).
