OK. I'm home from vacation, and now I can truly start to work on Always on Time (if my group ever gets together to finish Digging for Lies, of course...). Here's something unexpectedly fun for you guys, though. I mentioned above that I'm going to have my group make their own lower level party...

I absolutely love the idea of the kobolds parkouring around the city delivering things. I might have to steal that for a campaign in the future. :) Kudos to your players for creative ideas, and I can't wait to hear more about your story.

All right. I didn't get to finish Digging for Lies yet, but I still have work to do to prepare for Always on Time. Here's what I've done so far. I calculated, and it's 19'3" worth of battle map! It's been a nice distraction from a super slow weekend of work.

Bad news. One of my players came down with the flu, and another has to make an emergency trip out of town tonight. So, we are not going to be able to finish Digging for Lies until after I get back from Ireland, likely about two weeks from Sunday. It's sad, because I was really looking forward...

These are a lot of fun, and are really making me think about how I'm going to use Ashima-Shimtu in my own game. I don't think any of my players (save, maybe one) would actually make a deal with her, but maybe she won't present it as such, and instead hold them to her debt without them knowing...

Additionally, the Star Wars minis also have some great creatures that can stand in for the thoughtform beasts, and it won't break the immersion as much. It's much easier to think beholder than k'lorr slug, and I felt like that made it a little easier for my players to forget what they thought...

The Family is a good idea. My group enjoys meeting with Cippiano, so maybe showing him in a different, more sinister(?) light might be interesting. My group has almost no interaction with the fey at the moment either, and it would be nice to set that up a bit before Asrabey shows himself...
