I think part of the problem with the old FRCS was that it was too bitty i.e. not enough consistency of detail across the map. Some places had detailed local scale and city/town maps, some didn't and you kinda had to plan your campaign around what there were maps available for e.g. players...

I'm gonna take a wild guess from the post count and a few other subtle clues that Labyrinth = Rob Bowes (LoneWolf/HeroLab) Call me suspicious.... :D

Otherwise known as product activation. We put product activation into RPGXplorer but everyone hated it so much we switched it off i.e. you don't need to connect to the internet to verify your key.

Try RPGXplorer, a couple of things here we don't handle yet (we will in time) and it's ....not free :)

Some interesting news for you (and vendors of OGL/d20 character generators like myself). While this is undoubtedly good news for RPGXplorer (and others) I would like to wish CMP a commisatorial pat on the back, because I can imagine all too well how this must hurt like hell. From the CMP website:

RPGXplorer contains a spell database. It contains preset filters as well as allowing you to create your own. You can also sort the data by various columns e.g. school, components etc. Check it out, version 1.03 came out today and has a 30 day trial.

You'll have to wait for the release notes I'm afraid. LOTS, would be the short answer ;)
