I don't understand. We're in a huge room, 80 meters. Is there another room within 12 meters. Do you have a map? Maybe that would clear things up.

Prometheus points toward the nearest life signs and murmurs, "12 meters." Knowing things are about to get noisy, he keeps his spell active hoping what ever it is can be handled by the others so he can see the response from the other life signs.

Prometheus whispers, "The hand's worth a shot. It'll be quieter. If we get mobbed, things could get ugly fast. I'd prefer to have someone hack thelock if that doesn't work."

Prometheus speaks up pointing to a near wall off to the right, "I've got two life signs 12 meters, followed by two more at 40 meters", pointing off to the left.

All right. I stepped through the door. I am not perceiving Astrally. My spell is still active, so it should inform me of any living thing within 100 meters inside the barrier.

Prometheus remains near the back as the rest of the group starts filtering through the door. He steps through last, slowly as he's still sustaining his detections spell. Once inside, he pauses to assess any new information the spell may provide to him.

I'm sustaining the Detect Life spell. Once the door opens, does the astral barrier open as well? Is the barrier still active, but I need to step through it? Will the spell stay up as I do?

Once in place, Prometheus begins a small detection casting, chanting quietly to himself. The detection spell opens his mind to a more complete awareness, allowing him to know where all living things in 100 meters are. The spell won't penetrate the astral barrier, but it might tell him if there...

Prometheus stands by waiting patiently for the others on his team to complete their tasks. No doubt his turn will soon come. He steps up beside Floch and murmurs quietly, "Not a good idea to go in there alone. Bad magic." Then he strides back to his place a few meters from the door.

Everyone else seem so eager. In a fit of worry, Prometheus casts a spell to enhance his speed. The first casting is minimally effective and slightly draining. He lets that one go and tries for something that will actually help him. The second casting is much more effective and does not fatigue...

Prometheus mumbles, "Fool's rush in where angels fear to tread." He leans back slightly and considers, "We can break it open, but wouldn't dare to predict what would happen. I would suggest we step back and prepare to attack anything that comes out."

Prometheus looks to the rest of the group and warns them, "There's some strange magic in that building. It was not created by anything I've seen that was human. It's very otherworldly and dangerous."

Perplexed, Prometheus looks again and considers what other things he's seen in Astral space that might be similar.

I have several magical knowledge skills, like Astral entities, Magical forensics and Magical security. Does what I know already include ideas from those, or can I roll and get more info?

Prometheus stood looking at the warehouse impassively. Likely if the building is uninhabited, astral scouting would just see some electronics with no understanding of their value. Prometheus shifts his sight to the Astral plane and looks over the outside of the building, not really expecting...
