Maddy touches down as quickly as she can.

The Juggler turns to the others. "Well, let's go help out Dr. Wizard. His geniusness has managed to leave us in the lurch--again." And with a roll of his eyes, he darts inside.

Maddy isn't invisible. She's saving that one for later. Maddy regards the area below her, getting a better view of the situation.

Maddy frowns. "I think I can come up with something." And with that and a slight shift in her glow, she takes to the air, flying up to survey the damage.

After being teleported, Maddy lurches forward, and presses her fingers to her mouth. "Well," she manages, "it's better than air travel."

The Juggler deftly dances backwards, and then throws another knife at the guard who's approaching him, expertly aiming for the man's shoulder. Given that this is a minion, I'm going to take 10 on my attack roll, for 20, and since that should hit, force a Toughness saving throw of DC23...

Maddy stands up as the Major finishes her speech. "I'm good. Go to Japan. Beat up giant monsters. Figure out who's behind them." She cracks her knuckles. "I'm gonna concentrate on the first part myself. Know your strengths, and all that."

The Juggler rolls 28 for initiative. Stepping out of the shadow, the Juggler throws his Sleeper Ball at the the guards. Why are you rolling Mr Jones Mind Control power? It's perception-ranged. The guards are the ones who should be rolling saving throws.

The ruler of Karse is the enigmatic Count Bleys, an albino reputed to be a great magician. Bleys, like his father Goreys before him, has spent most of his life in the great Onyx Castle of Karse, his orders relayed by iron golems.

Maddy leans back in her chair, and shuts her eyes. "Well, as I'm no good at detective work, just tell me when we're getting to the 'hitting things' part."

The Juggler hits his communicator. "I'm around, Herr Doktor. Just tell me when you're ready to strike and I'll soften the boys in black up for you." One can almost hear him grit his teeth. "And leave the speedster to me. I know how to handle runners..."

Maddy glances at Gauntlet, clearly amused. "Easy for you to say--you don't have my codename." She quickly takes a seat at the table.

OOC: Umm--Raylis, unless your house-ruling this something fierce, the default assumption of M&M 2nd edition is that all attacks are non-lethal unless the attacker specifies he's going to do lethal damage.

Maddy Glass rushes in, glowing purple. "Maddy Glass, and I'm not using that other name. Uh-uh, no way."

Maddy jumps to her feet. "All right! Action!"

The Juggler quietly hits his com-button. "This is Laughing Boy, Herr Doktor. I'm out front in the Commons. Magicman, can you give me your location?"

The Juggler nods. "Right. I'll join you out front." And with that, he ducks out, stealthfully, leaps over the fence, and then quietly heads for the front of the building. Same as before, taking 10 on Acrobatics and Stealth
