Yes that's right Borders had Starships of the Galaxy a day before it was supposed to be released....which meant my 40% off Borders Rewards coupon that expires today didn't go to waste! They didn't have D&D Elder Evils, though, but that just means less temptation. Now the book dutifully hops...

I remember talk way back about a MTGRPG in development....... then Wizards acquired D&D and I assumed they figured "why bother." I wonder how far development developed, and what aspects of it - if any - made it into 3E (or 4E).

I've recently started posting what notes i have for 3 or 4 of them on Obsidian Portal.....if nothing else it's an extra copy, but I'm finding that it's inspiring me to flesh them out. There may be life in them yet!

The only 2E mod I remember buying - or at least using - was Shattered Circle. My group got a lot of mileage out of that one.

Yeah, it's a little quick-and-dirty, isn't it? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the PDF of the collected month's edition will be very different. The content is great. And I like that I don't have the whole enchilada to devour just yet.

I don't think that's the way it will be when D&D Insider goes to a paid model. It doesn't make sense. Web Enhancements often serve to persuade people to buy a product (as it evidently has persuaded Ant). If Web Enhancements stick around, that is - registering your products to unlock bonus...

I know it specifically mentions "new monsters" as one of the things that makes a good submission. It didn't specify Wandering Monster per se, but I say give it a shot!

PHII in 4E? Did anyone notice how under "Player's Handbook" it says in smaller type: "Arcane, Divine and Martial Heroes" ? This leads me to believe there will be no rogue/thief in that book, and that 4E's PHII will likely be labeled something like: "Scoundrels and Psionics." ?
