This is confusing me, so are these new mechanics and expanded material official or not? This is what turns me off to 5e. The material is SCARCE from WotC. 3rd Party there's a ton, sure, but I'm not looking for 3PP. I am strictly official material and miss the days of new material every month...

I was wondering why those spaces are blank? Was hoping for a full-fledged map of Chult. Guess I'll have to rely on the 2e one still.

As good as D&D is doing, I still miss and think 3.0/3.5 was the best edition in terms of rules, and in terms of fluff, 2nd Edition will always be the best. I feel like 5e is...extremely too light on all sides. Rules and fluff.

I'm confused. I thought the Forgotten Realms was "restored" almost back to the way it was? So why is Chult still an island? And why is Samarach, Thindol, and other nations along what USED to be a peninsula, still gone? This is upsetting. As a Forgotten Realms fan.

Sorry to do a super Threadomancy on this, but I have been having problems with this feat in my games as well. The Fortitude DC of 40+ by a Rogue player of mine is way too out of hand. It's easy for him to get a SA, and every hit on a foe renders them Staggered for a round which severely hampers...
