It's very much tile based, but its rogue-like base might disqualify it for this thread, but I'd like to enter 'Tales of May'Eyal' into the contest. It's one of the best rogues I ever played, actively developed, has hours upon hours of replay value. And yes, Shining Force, absolutely.

Are you kidding... Nope, you're not. How the...? Apparently I downloaded a shorter (older?) version of the Guide at some point at some time. It's only 30 pages long and missing a food bit of crunch (Primordial Warlock, among others) as well as lore. Yet the cover of it and the current one on...

OK, that would already help. 'Primordial' not as an existing subclass that I'm too blind to find (or that's somehow missing or hidden deep in some chapter I haven't bought yet), but as a loose in-world concept for me to adapt to existing subclasses or a homebrew. I could work with that. :)...

I voted "other". Under the 'Group I trust' premise, I'd have no preference. Of all D&D editions, 5e is my fav, but with the right people I'll play anything.

This really annoys me, I know I should fine it, but coming up empty handed. The Campaign Guide mentions warlocks with "The Primordial" patrons, referencing the kraken, worm, dragon and Avilona as examples (pg. 18, 5e version). I feel dumb, but shouldn't there be some detail on primordial...
