Average. I find given the opportunity, I can be good, but I follow the flow of the gaming group I am playing with. Since most of the games are a bit combat intensive, it is very easy to forget about character personality, drive, etc.

I just recycled my collection a month back. They were sitting in stacks at the bottom of my gaming closet and I never went through them. I can cancelled my subscription around a year ago for the same reason, good or bad, I just never really did more than casually glance through them.

I find things only get wacky from strange bonuses when I allow 3rd party books. When my players use only the core books, I have less people with +10-20 bonuses on certain skills at first level. Plus, I don't care much about all of the options, so I only own the core books and 1 class book.

Those misc jewels etc could be used for the money equivelent for expensive spell components. The Web spell in the spell book is an error. It should have been a scroll and it should be used on the players.

I bought WLD and am not a big fan of dungeons, but this thing is so well organized and so easy to read and surprisinly interesting to read, that you can't help but want to run it. Thankfully, I live in a college town and there are always several power gamers who just want to beat stuff up.
