RPG Print News – Goodman, Legendary, CMON, Son of Oak, and More

I never heard of Draco Studios before. It appears they're based in Mexico.

RPG Crowdfunding News – Iron Kingdoms, Holler, Mutated Monsters, and more

Unfortunately, if the people destroyed the "Big Boys'" works as the game suggests, they'd also be destroying their own jobs. My grandfather was a West Virginia coal miner back in the 1920s, but he eventually moved to Ohio to find work there.

RPG Print News – Catalyst, Ulisses Spiele, Riot Mind, and More

Thanks. I'll probably buy it as soon as it becomes available from European distributors, maybe even Amazon.

Yes, many European rpg books seem to be printed in Lithuania.

D&D 5E D&D Books Delayed By The Shipocalypse

Not quite. Xanathar's Guide to Everything was printed in China, for example.

D&D 5E D&D Books Delayed By The Shipocalypse

Are the D&D books still printed in China? It's a bad policy, I think. At least for the European market, they should print the books in an eastern member state. Inexpensive, but still good quality.

D&D and Call of Cthulhu Climb Again in Roll20's Latest Stats

My group uses Roll20 in combination with discord and I thought this was standard procedure, but I could be wrong.

D&D 5E Roundup: Check Out These Previews from D&D Celebration

There was a 2e supplement called College of Wizardry. It's probably darker than what Strixhaven appears to be. Btw, is Strixhaven a girls' school? Just wondering because of the pictures and the names.

D&D and Call of Cthulhu Climb Again in Roll20's Latest Stats

Is Savage Worlds really such a minor system or is it simply underrepresented on Roll20?

RPG Crowdfunding News - The Price of Coal, Herbalist’s Primer, SLA Industries, and More

Although the West Virginia coal wars are an interesting bit of history, they make for a boring RPG. As for Good Little Children Never Grow Up, I think that such horror scenarios are better suited to Savage Worlds than to D&D or PF. It's therefore commendable that a SWADE option is planned.

    D&D 5E Cubicle 7 Shares Victoriana’s New Cover

It might be fun to combine this with Ravenloft and Spelljammer.

D&D Movie/TV Chris Pine To Star In D&D Movie

That's why I can't ever imagine a Dragonlance movie. Having kender in a film would make it a disgusting and nightmarish horror movie for me!

D&D 5E The Fall Of The Dwarves: What Races Do People Actually Play?

If I would DM a D&D game again, I'd probably make dwarves totally Germanic, i.e. intensely magical. Many would be wizards or sorcerers and I'd also give them magic resistance. Cloaks or hoods of invisibility would be dwarven hallmarks.

D&D 5E The Fall Of The Dwarves: What Races Do People Actually Play?

It would be interesting to see what the percentages are in other game systems. Most players can relate to traditional fantasy races, I don't know if that's really the case with "unique" new ones. My guess is that most players will then play human characters. This also applies to sci-fi, although...

D&D Movie/TV Chris Pine To Star In D&D Movie

The idea that great artists, writers, musicians, etc. are totally misunderstood in their own times and invariably end up in poverty is a hackneyed trope that seems to have arisen around 1800. Examples: Mozart was actually quite successful, but he simply wasted his money. He was widely considered...

D&D Movie/TV Chris Pine To Star In D&D Movie

I think I'll join the fray and quote Tolkien himself regarding the meaning of the LotR (L. 243): "In The Lord of the Rings the conflict is not basically about 'freedom,' though that is naturally involved. It is about God, and His sole right to divine honour."

    D&D 5E Epic Monsters: Krampus

That about sums it up. Oh, and I forgot Zwarte Piet in the Netherlands. Apparently, he was originally a chained demon, so I may be wrong about Krampus being a fey creature rather than a fiend.
