D&D 5E Berdusk decided to relocate for HotDQ?

Didn't notice. But then I wouldn't care if they moved Neverwinter to the southern border

D&D 5E Are DMs getting lazy?

Hey you know what, you're right. Maybe that's it. Their core products are so good people are just slavering for more

D&D 5E Are DMs getting lazy?

'Wants more stuff from WotC!' 'Hates things WotC makes'

D&D 5E Are DMs getting lazy?

That's funny because all I see is people griping about the 5e adventures/products. Maybe I'm wearing the wrong glasses.

D&D 5E Are DMs getting lazy?

This would be a valid point except that the work done by professionals is roundly derided by the people clamoring for work done by the same professionals. Also the definition of 'good' is not what is as high quality as professional designers, but what entertains your group.

D&D 5E Classes you're hoping WotC will create

It's the videogamification attitude of builds not characters. And I love video games but the two mediums are different.

D&D 5E What can you make with Alchemist's Tools?

The only issue I see and I may be wrong is that I believe in the PHB it specifically says that a basic potion of healing is technically not magic so much as a medicinal concoction. I may be wrong, but even if I'm right I'm not sure that would invalidate your idea.

D&D 5E Classes you're hoping WotC will create

I want to see a Nitpicker class. It would be a wizard or scholar who reads texts with a fine tooth comb and only finds things it doesn't like, even if it's small. With specializations like Nerdrager and Fanboy I really think people could sink their teeth into the role play aspects.

D&D 5E Are DMs getting lazy?

Actually yes. You can do all those things and more! You aren't actually handcuffed to Wotc as a source of inspiration. There's even a whole wide world out there to draw inspiration from. Only wanting one thing from one publisher and crying because it isn't out there isn't lazy per se... But the...

D&D 5E Are DMs getting lazy?

But why do you need something from Wotc to mine ideas? If you want to see what ideas people have go to a bookstore. The rate at which Wotc puts out products should be irrelevant and as such griping about it is really just looking for an excuse to gripe. But then looking for gripe excuses seems...

    D&D 5E Are hardback AP's a waste?

And that's pretty much it in a nutshell. You sir, may drop the mic.

    D&D 5E What's the point of gold?

Is this a real question? The point of gold is to amass enough that you can Scrooge McDuck dive into the fortune you've earned.

    D&D 5E Are hardback AP's a waste?

    Nope love them.

D&D 5E Knock Unconscious and Massive Damage

Meh. As usual with our kind we over do they need for codified rules for every situation. A lot of die rolling for no real purpose.

D&D 5E Knock Unconscious and Massive Damage

A lot of overthinking. Butt end of a weapon. How many times have film and tv heroes KO'ed a minion with a hilt or guard to the face? Or the butt of an axe? Do enough damage and to KO. No problem,

D&D 5E Knock Unconscious and Massive Damage

Why not let him use the hilt of his blade? Problem solved.

D&D 5E DMG - breaking bounded accuracy already?

    ... Wow. Like a boss!!

D&D 5E DMG - breaking bounded accuracy already?

The combinations of events that would make this 'breaking' possible are so ridiculous it isn't worth a thread to discuss it. Sure you could have all this items and get multiple tomes and roll all 18's to start and go up a level every session and ... And... .. And your DM is a moron if this...
