    Hallowe'en Treat On a totally non-related topic... I've had a new Halloween-ish article/supplement published. :D

RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

Archeville continues (slowly & invisibly) levitating, trying to see exactly where the giant ape is and what it's up to. A shame we didn't get to see how well Sierra's Godzilla ruse would've worked, but it would probably have increased the panic levels exponentially, so maybe it is for the best...

RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

"<<If only I had some control over the 'witch'?>>" Archeville mutters under his breath, in Japanese. He then resumes speaking aloud, "<<Respectfully, I regret I cannot do that -- I've got an ape to stop.>> Sierra, I trust you can handle these gentlemen on your own for a few moments?" he...

    ESP Variant: Telelocation

Or everyone just has a low Will save, to go along with their low Wisdom scores. ;) (I don't see Molly's Boogeyman being that "protected," he's just hiding out, possibly trying to avoid whoever it is that's killing off the Old Guard, and he's got some sort of Power Control/Power Reflection deal.)

RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

"Escort Mr. Ichitawa"? Hiroshi Ichitawa, the man the girl is deathly afraid of? If the boy generating the kaiju is doing so to protect her from him, what's his deal? Archeville continues speaking, utterly oblivious to the Nightmare near him and to Sierra's charming shift. "<<Sirs, we are...

None in particular I'm aware of, aside from needing GM Permission, and there being a good in-story reason for them getting worse (just like you'd need a good in-story reason for a Drawback getting better).

Some pie would be nice ;) I believe the Explosive Air Control 10 was actually okayed by us. For his daily Wisdom loss without pill thing, keep in mind it's got to be a Very Common (per adventure) occurrence for it to be worth that 1 drawback point. Oh, some of your sblocking/coding seems a...

    Targeted Areas

Whirlwind Attack has the exact same "issue," though, and AFAIK no one's said it's terribly broken. And, on the flip side, rolls of 1 -- missing one guy is no fun, and missing everyone is even less fun. That being said, I'm okay with LS having Targeted Area be either a one-roll thing, or a...

    Targeted Areas

And back to the original topic, I vote YES on allowing Targeted Areas.

    Magic in the LS Campaign

So, Judges, have their been any thoughts on how Magic works in the Living Supers Universe? Is it to be a somewhat evolving thing based on what characters are brought in by players & as stories/adventures are written (not unlike the comics)? Or were there already some plans as to the Hows and Whys?

I don't think the Teen Titans (or the X-Men) were ever associated/tied to any government organization. New Teen Feats from Hero High Cool -- Bonus on Charisma-related skill when dealing with teens. Disarming -- Force foe to pull their punch Untapped Potential -- Use Extra Effort to increase...

Douane, I've looked over Nimrod and sent you (and Hero4Hire) an e-mail. LogicsFate... I'm not sure. The Judges'll need to put our heads together on this.

    Targeted Areas

Yeah, that's probably why I've never seen any character built with Immunity (REF effects) ;) Have seen a few with Impervious Reflex saves, though (which'd work like Impervious Damage or Will saves).

    Targeted Areas

You're right, your "Killer Disease" doesn't have the Disease extra... but you do list it as having the Poison extra, and both need their effects to be Fort saves. Then don't call it a Mind Blast ;) And since it is still a regular Damage save, the construct, mindless or no, would be affected...
  16. H

    Targeted Areas

Sure it would (be immune), since Mind Blast has a save of Will, not Damage, and so it would be immune to all Mind Blasts (which, by definition, are resisted by Will, not Damage). You'd be quite right, since the Immunity power specifically lists ways to be immune to Damage effects (the big 40...

    General Discussion Thread II

Interestingly (or oddly), while the Mastermind's Manual has a more in-depth look at Movement Powers and Tactical movement, it's somewhat reverse from what's given in the Core book and in Ultimate Power. The Core M&M book and UP say that the speed listed for a given rank of a movement power is...

    Targeted Areas

Where's it say that? I'm honestly curious, since both Ultimate Power and Steve Kenson say that with Immunity, you're assumed to always make the save (so with Area effects, Immunity/Reflex saves means you always make the initial Reflex save, but you'd still need to make the damage save, at half...

RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

Archeville's attention shifts back and forth between Sierra & the Men in Suits, and the still-rampaging giant ape. <<"We're the ones trying to stop these monsters!">>

    ESP Variant: Telelocation

You're not getting the 4-point (all senses) ESP, it's just a one-point/sense ESP (mental sense). You can't see/hear what the target's doing, or see/hear their surroundings.
