Put me in the camp of selling SOME. There were several books I just didn't think I would ever use again. I put them in the Auction Store at last year's GenCon. Sold almost everything and paid for my room.

Not necessarily. The Free RPG Day offering from Paizo is a first level adventure involving goblins and fireworks that can be used as a lead in to the Jade Regent AP. Where did the goblins GET the fireworks? Merchants? Traveling shows?

I haven't played DnD (other than a 4e demo) since 4e actually launched. I've played Pathfinder, Cortex, MouseGuard, and board games. WotC has put less and less into GenCon every since 2005 and it really shows.

The new system was OK. It DIDN'T work well with my Chrome browser, though. Firefox ran fine and I got my room. What was a little weird was how rooms became available after being marked UNAVAILABLE. A little nerve racking but I got my rooms so I'm good now.:)

On the other hand, maybe this sort of discussion will help a WotC employee to decide to take a leap.... to step out on their own or take a position with another company. Or... even better... maybe a frank and open discussion of these "bonuses" will shame WotC into changing their practices. And...
