D&D 5E Would you rebuy all the books if they were updated?

That's what PDFs are for. I would buy a digital copy of an update, but not another book. I think I would buy a new book after 4-5 years, but no less.

D&D 5E My new 5E campaign is looking for feedback

Today they will go towards the mines on the Galena Mountains. I'll probably try some of your ideas for possible deviations ;)

D&D 5E I'm just sayin', the concentration mechanic makes it WAY easier to balance spells

*sigh* I am enjoying it, I hope to continue for a long time :p

    D&D 5E Magic Item Costs in 5E

I'd love an item creation system which requires rare components (like gems or herbs) an specific spells rather than a money-based one

D&D 5E My new 5E campaign is looking for feedback

Third session here: the party continued his exploration of Earthwood looking for the reasons for the strange cold that's affecting the forest and its surroundings. During their exploration they were ambushed by eight kobolds who tried to force them to flee, but the party was able to resist them...

When are you supposed to tip (in America)?

I meant that their work there is illegal and it's not legally registered. This means that the owner does not pay taxes on his waiters and that the waiters do not have any protection for being sick or they don't a have the right not to come at work if they have problems for one day. For the...

When are you supposed to tip (in America)?

Many Italian waiters don't have a contract at all and they are paid really really bad, they have "health insurance", but that's for everybody because we are all big bad evil socialists (:p). Anyway, I was just curious I understand it's something written in your DNA as americans and I respect...

When are you supposed to tip (in America)?

Wow you Americans have a lot of money to spend in tips. It makes me want to be a waiter :P Here in Italy we don't have such "strict" rules and the tip is totally optional, but it's even as something very polite even if strictly associated to the quality of service. For us it's unconceivable to...

    D&D 5E Does 5E NEED a campaign world book?

Probably it's not necessary, but I need a 5th edition Forgotten Realms campaign setting after the disaster of the Spellplague and 4E in general, or I could die :(

D&D 5E On FAQs and Twitter

Sure it is, but when the FAQ enters too much in any aspect of the game it becomes a weapon in rules-lawyers. I don't want a FAQ that tells me if I can cast spells using a shield, I want to decide depending on the spell, on the character and on the situation. As regards errors and bad explained...

D&D 5E On FAQs and Twitter

I hope this is not going to happen. Rule lawyers and RAW fans have destroyed RP in the previous edition. I hope I'm not going to hear things like "Action economy" or "Hands economy". DM's call should be the standard answer to any question.

D&D 5E I'm just sayin', the concentration mechanic makes it WAY easier to balance spells

Didn't mean to insult, sorry. What I meant was that I hope that WotC won't start to release unbalanced material (in this case too powerful no-concentration spell) just because people (not you, but in general) wants to return to the buff stack of previous editions. Of course I'd love more...

D&D 5E I'm just sayin', the concentration mechanic makes it WAY easier to balance spells

Up to now I'm very happy with the Concentration mechanic and I hope they won't start to release spells to avoid this nice mechanic just because people want to be broken.

D&D 5E What do you like to see in the Dungeon Master's Guide?

Morale rules, a magic item creation process that won't reintroduce magic item economy PLEASE and, in general tips and alternatives to change some rules.

D&D 5E If you're planning to run 5e, have you started a homebrew campaign?

Yes we've been playing my campaign for two sessions, but until now it seems fine. Players were enthusiastic of the character creation process and their first impressions about the game are very good.

D&D 5E My new 5E campaign is looking for feedback

Thanks for your comment! Two of my players are relatively new to RPGs in General and I don't want them to think that is all about fighting, that's why I try to run some session with other kind of encounters. In my mind they "should have" taken a quest in a little less time, but they enjoyed...

D&D 5E My new 5E campaign is looking for feedback

Ok we played our second session on Thursday and I make a little report: The bard player didn't join us because he is still away (he lives in another city) The plot started at the equine fair of Ravensburg when they paid for the entrance at the fair. The fair took place in specific quarters in...

    D&D 5E Battlemats?

I think I'm going to use an Hex grid on Roll20 for complicated/importants fights. For minor stuff I'll use TotM
