    OGL d20 modern

Don't worry too much about 4e and the d20 licence if you weren't planning to use them anyway. Nothing has changed in the OGL. The use you describe sounds fine. As for closed content, campaign flavour is one thing, but for a commercial product, as opposed to a fan posting, I feel personally...

    4E Class Survivor - Round 2

I'm going to keep voting for the Invoker until it's gone. I've had a lot of fun playing a blasting cleric and this design just doesn't fit in too many ways. I won't be sorry to see the back of any of the classes starting with S either.

    PDF Stores

Indie Press Revolution sells some PDFs, as does Lulu, better known for Print on Demand. If you don't take the RPGNow/DriveThru exclusive route, you might get another 10% of RPGNow sales from all others combined, or you might get much more if your work becomes popular with a particular...

    [4EYes] There and back again?

It sounds excellent, but I can't unzip it in Windows due to question marks in the file names.

(By OGL I mean GSL) What terms are kosher?

    2. and 3. edit: In a licenced product, you may not use Wizards IP that is not in the SRD, attack Wizards IP, or mention any of a certain list of creatures at all in any way. Basically, don't try to get clever, because you have signed away many uses you might make under general IP law. I don't...

    Reviews: positive or negative

Neither. When I choose to read a review, I want to know about the significant qualities of the product and facts that might influence whether it will be useful to me in my own circumstances. If the reviewer wants to comment whether particular parts are well or poorly done, that's reasonable and...

    Drinking and Whoring for XP

Not so much XP (except to enhance a Carousing skill in the game, which can happen) but Dying Earth and several others refresh your character abilities at periods of 'relaxation'.

    Dawning Star Harrison Raiders adventure

I'm probably reading too much into it. In some places they produce frost and in others they inject cryostasis drugs, which I would think slow the metabolism and prevent tissue damage, rather than making things cold - but it makes sense in context for the item to do both.

    Dawning Star Harrison Raiders adventure

Looks good - it's a well structured investigation. Are the cryo-rifles new? I thought they were described a bit inconsistently in different places.

    DMing with a White Board

It can be a useful way to put up reference information for the whole group, particularly initiative. I don't think it's a good option to represent combat positioning because I've found few people can draw on a vertical whiteboard readably and in proper scale. Really, a secondary tool, can be...

    Deva or Aasimar?

Aasimar doesn't mean anything. Deva means something different than the way WotC uses the word. Thus, if we have to have either one, I prefer aasimar. It's not up to me, though, and doesn't greatly matter, if the made-up terms describe a useful game concept.

Attention! new Campaign Setting open playtesting

A scenario would be a very good start, certainly, along with the sort of information in your fourth paragraph: what the land looks like, what sorts of settlements, realms and authorities exist, what kinds of characters inhabit the place, what they believe, seek and strive for, what dangers...

Attention! new Campaign Setting open playtesting

I think you may have a lot of work ahead to provide five continents of playable setting. So far I see an origin myth and some nice art. Do you have any preview material you could share that would help to set a campaign - a series of game scenarios for players in the present day?
