D&D 5E Eberron: Forge of the Artificer

I'm getting Archivist vibes from it, honestly, but it might be something like a Tinkerer or something with a focus on more miscellaneous magical items (considering we've got weapons, armor, potions, and wands/staves/rods covered by the other four archetypes). The glasses, the pendant, that coat...

IANAL, but my Google-fu tells me that firing somebody for serving jury duty is one of those reasons to fire someone that is illegal, even in "right to work" states. Literally all "right to work" means, btw, is that you don't have to pay union dues if you don't want to. That of course means...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Ah, but see, I live in a university town, so it has migrated northward.

The D&D 4th edition Rennaissaince: A look into the history of the edition, its flaws and its merits

You assume correctly. I 4venged with the best of them back in the day, and we got as well as we gave. And in retrospect I don't even really like 4e anymore. Of course I played 3.5 for years, well over a decade most likely, and I loathe 3.x now. These days of course I'm older, wiser, and...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I was born and raised in California; lived there all of my life. I can count on one hand the combined number of weeks I've spent the night outside of the state. And there are a vanishingly few number of things I find more disgusting than avocado.

The best pizza I've ever had in my life I made myself and it contained jalapenos, kimchi, and anchovies.

That's awesome, more for me then. Not real licorice. The real life hack though is biting the ends off of a red vine and using it as a straw in a can of Dr. Pepper.

TSR The Full & Glorious History of NuTSR

I was on the jury for a murder trial, and to be honest, I was surprised at how similar the experience was to something like Law & Order. Fewer dramatic objections and more powerpoint presentations and handouts, but otherwise not as wildly inaccurate as I was expecting it to be.

David Lynch: RIP and Ranked (A Celebration)

I was going to respond with exactly this and imagine my disappointment when it is the only reply so far! e: I'll have to GIF it instead...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

The first film does start a bit slow but Paddington 2 is excellent from top to bottom; these films have 97% and 99% Tomato scores for a reason and it's not just for keeping the kiddos entertained

Evil Genius Games Attempts To Remove Bad Press [Update--And Then Adds Legal Threats!]

He's also black. Look, dude seems shady as hell and is likely a grifter at best, and maybe there's good reason to mistrust his accounts on some (or nearly all) (or all) counts, but let's not pretend that there's any amount of money and/or prestige that is going to save you from a racist cop in...

    D&D General Which BG3 companion?

It is fairly heavily implied, if not outright stated, that whatever the brain worms did essentially sets the party back to level 1. Gale definitely brings it up (not that I blame you if you skipped through his dialogue...) but also everything you learn about the Dark Urge PC as well. I think I...
