D&D (2024) Psionics: What Do You Want?

What I was trying to to say is that it feels like the subclasses for the Psion are holding more weight than the wizard or sorcerers. Wizard subclasses to me are rather bare, besides blade singer the old school specialist usually have like 1 ability that really makes a difference, especially...

D&D (2024) Psionics: What Do You Want?

So while I completely agree with you for sorceress vs wizards I think that with what subclasses we are seeing with this version of a psion they feel very different than wizards or sorcerers. Metabolic are kinda gushes but to me feel very different from Blade dancers. Warpers have the most in...

D&D Debuts Playtest for Psion Class

So the more I read and reread the class my biggest disappointments are the disciplines. The subclasses give us great ways to spend our psi dice, to the point that spending a psi dice on a discipline will be rare except for maybe the skill ones. What we need are constant abilities, or things more...

D&D Debuts Playtest for Psion Class

I would love a free wild talent when you either chose the class or chose your subclass to make certain concepts and builds viable.

D&D (2024) Psionics: What Do You Want?

While I agree with you, they have mentioned numerous times that when something is even remotely similar to spellcasting, they will just use spell casting, why reinvent the wheel. I hate this idea and would love an Artificer who just built magical items or inventions instead of having spells, i...

    D&D (2024) Psion Class: Green/Yellow/Red?

Red means scrap the concept completely with no ability to give imput just like green means its great with no ability for impute so yellow is always best unless you hate the concept of psi then vote red.

D&D Debuts Playtest for Psion Class

This is the best written, and most thorough explanation of the problems of releasing Dark Sun in this day and age.

    D&D (2024) Psion Class: Green/Yellow/Red?

I feel like it is a strong yellow or a weak green. While I do not like psi dices, they are already a core feature when they made the other psionic subclasses, so I accept that they need to be significant part of the class. Subclasses are very thematic and on point they embody the four concepts...

Dungeons & Dragons Announces Horror Subclasses Unearthed Arcana

While I agree that cosmic horror could easily walk in and out of Ravenloft and that Markov would be the best dark lord, Sorin definitely isn't. I still think that Emralul might have made Innistrad, maybe she is a dark power

D&D (2024) You Can Now Pre-order Eberron: Forge of the Artificer

Alchemist: Old witch of the woods, doctor or apothecary, more modern chemist, turn them into single use charms, magical chef, Bio tech or rune scribe. Armorer: Could be grafted components tech or Bio tech, living steel (Think T2) magical construct (light construct), Witchblade(magical weapons)...

D&D (2024) You Can Now Pre-order Eberron: Forge of the Artificer

Also one of the nicest touches I have seen is the folded blade on the second picture. This has a drastically different look that previous takes on the built-in magical weapons a warforged could get. I am hoping that in the new warforged write up they talk about being able to customize...

D&D (2024) You Can Now Pre-order Eberron: Forge of the Artificer

The second two are indeed warforged. The middle picture has a backpack and other trappings that show them as actual pcs. The thrid picture is investigating a death, which no one would do for a steel defender.

Dungeons & Dragons Announces Horror Subclasses Unearthed Arcana

Spiritual weapon is on par with Summon undead or summon aberration with those both doing slightly better damage having extra effects, not taking your bonus action to control them however they have hit points so to me that evens them out. Hex is just a bad spell to be concentrating on by the...

Dungeons & Dragons Announces Horror Subclasses Unearthed Arcana

Ahh ok that I like but I doubt they would ever do but I do really like that way of doing something. Or they could have just put a few shadow spells into our core book.

D&D (2024) Elemental Adept is a Bad Feat. Elemental Damage Vs Radiance Etc

As of now Elemental Adept is virtually useless in most games. I do think that the extra damage is a bit to far just have it be that immunity is dropped to resistance and resistance is just ignored. The same should go for poisoner.

Dungeons & Dragons Announces Horror Subclasses Unearthed Arcana

So for Reanimater I said that maybe more free uses per day would balance them out since it feels like they were ment to just die. Hexblade needs to be removed from hex, also said give them spiritual weapon. They are trying to have a spectral echo of your patron and there is already a spell...

D&D (2024) Potential other "rules expansion" books

It was Level Up that made me think that racial cultures would make great backgrounds instead of sub races. To me it's not something like elven soldier but more like Raised in Rivendell, for Forgotton Realms backgrounds like raised in Rahsemen or Talenta plans nomad

D&D (2024) Potential other "rules expansion" books

I doubt they will ever do racial specific subclasses because they want them available to every race. Now feats are a possibility I wouldn't mind specific backgrounds that encompassed what it was like growing up in specific racial cultures.
