I’ve played it some and I played some games based on it. I had fun with all of them.

I go with a derisive sneer and say.. “I don’t make builds. I make characters” and then ignore them.

I say yes but I think there are some barnacles that could be removed that would just refine it more. There are a lot of details that aren’t mechanically necessary gumming up the works at times.

Encounters aren’t all combats.

I don’t bother. Meta gaming isn’t a thing. When it “is” it’s a symptom of a different problem.

I take no notice of the composition of the group. They are who they are and they’ll face what they face. That said, IMX, the classes can handle themselves without a ‘healer’ or a ‘tank’. As a player I like to pick late and fill a role… I should probably make a character instead… and I think...

I’d say yes… but it’s kind of organic. IF a party is so optimized as to be punching well above their weight… will they not simply be tasked with greater things? Why would the powers that be ask for help with hobgoblins when THIS group can take on the giants in the gold mine?

My biggest issue is that I’m so used to keeping notes in a journal for tabletop games. But the games I play are VTT style. So my notes wind up mixed between the digital and the physical. Things still work out but…. CHAOS!

Nightmare. My states on top of it seemingly. Something like… 1200 cases in the schools with a population of almost 700k students and staff. A handful of cases at my kids elementary school but no linked cases or spread.

And how many people think an “encounter” means a “fight”.
