    Blood spots with ink?

Blood fades from red to brown when it gets old, so it could certainly be a reddish brown color. Otherwise, just pick up some red ink.

I want to buy a gaming computer. Help me, please.

Are you going to build it yourself, or buy a pre-built one? For building, check out Ars Technica's System Guides: http://arstechnica.com/guides/buyer/system-guide-200606.ars http://arstechnica.com/guides/buyer/guide-200605.ars I just built a computer based off of their "Hot Rod" specs - as in...

How would you price a ring of Dexterity +2?

As written, it's the same price as a normal +2 stat boost item. However, you are certainly within your rights to assign the extra x1.5 cost because of the odd slot, or possibly something even steeper because of the unusual nature of the item. Like frankthedm says, he should have to comission...

66 PAGES! Wow, that's a heck of a map. Thanks for the link.

    Enormous Ptolus Map

Does anyone know if there is a downloadable version of the map? The huge, sturdy vinyl version is great, but I'd like to be able to print it on something less expensive.

    Programs missing from Add/Remove list!

To fix Adobe Reader, open it, go to Help->Detect and Repair. Follow the instructions. You can also just download a newer version of it and install it. It should fix/overwrite any previous versions.

    Map tutorials with vector-based programs?

There are quite a few tutorials on the inkscape site, under "Documentation". I'm sure some of these will be relevant. Also, this might be helpful: the Open Clip Art Library - http://www.openclipart.org/

Dynamic (for Laptop Users) Character Sheet ?

Yes, it does. That was the tricky part for him too. Doing it in excel (actually, the open office spreadsheet) made for some interesting coding. I think "dynamic" is the correct word. I've also called it "live", like calling an electrical circuit live. I just don't think "The Only Sheet" is the...

    Haunted abbey?

Check Wizards.com Map-a-Week archive, especially the October ones. I'm sure you'll find something you can adapt.

Dynamic (for Laptop Users) Character Sheet ?

There are not many. My friend is making one in Excel. In fact, yours is the only other sheet I've heard of that was advertised as "dynamic". I have a primitive version of a dynamic sheet. I just plug in modifiers, there aren't any easy "Rage" buttons, but it works for me. My friend's sheet has a...

The Modifier Beast [culling the herd]

This what you're talking about? http://www.d20wiki.com/index.php/Bonus_Types_and_How_They_Stack As far as I'm concerned, alchemical and insight can go. Alchemical can become competence or circumstance and insight can be untyped. The rest I can see a reasonable need for.

    Titan Quest

Try a program called Crap Cleaner (CCleaner). It clears out the temp folders on your computer (among other things) and you can also have it clean out old registry entries. It's pretty good, but be careful and make registry backups (it will prompt you). Also, make sure you tell it not to delete...

    Titan Quest

I hear it comes with a level editor, so I hope it will be very mod friendly. PC Gamer gave it a favorable review, if you like Diablo II. The wife is interested in it because of that. We might pick it up, but probably not until the price drops.

    Website Template

Not RPG specific, but you might check out TiddlyWiki or the MonkeyPirateTiddlyWiki variant. With these, you download a copy, edit them within your browser (don't edit the html), and then upload them as your website. They can't actually be edited over the internet. Let me know if that doesn't...

Media Players - Which do you like best?

For all you Real and Quicktime haters: http://www.codecguide.com/ has Quicktime Alternative and Real Alternative so you can play (most) of those videos in Media Player Classic. I usually use Media Player 10. It works for what I want it to, and if it doesn't I use VideoLAN, because it plays more...

    Netscape 7 help

Weird. I haven't heard of that before. If you do get Firefox, it should import your Netscape settings, like bookmarks. If you're using Netscape for mail, get Thunderbird too. That's the email component.

When did the FAQ lose credibility?

I think that's about as accurate as the Core Books are anyway, so the FAQ is fine with me.
