That's a nice way of doing it, but I personally can't see any major city not banning the presence of Kender inside the walls. A LG society would keep them out, and I can see LN or LE cities offering bounties for them.

Instead of a slightly bigger hit die, they get a bunch of extra spells. That's not a bad deal at all, more so when you take into account how much of a boost that is on a relative scale compared to the Sorcerer's 15 spell limit.

WotC has said that they're trying to avoid feature creep. In light of this, new material will likely only be released in conjunction with new modules, or updates to campaign settings, in which the new options are relevant, e.g. the Artificer only being added when an update to Eberron is released.

If the question of Kender were ever brought up at my table, I think I would handle it something like this, if a player was insistent on playing a Kender. I'd allow it, but would make sure that the player knew that they would probably die at the party's hand sooner or later.

To each his own, but I would much prefer WotC not add a race whose entire nature is ADHD, kleptomania, and about 2 pounds of cocaine. More so when such a race should have gone extinct through natural selection generations ago.

Suggestion for the next update: Add the "Expertise" functionality to the radio buttons that indicate whether or not a spell is prepared, so that users have the option to indicate spells that are Known or always prepared, such as the Cleric's domain spells.

If you must modify Concentration, this is likely the better way to do it. A big part of game balance is is limiting Concentration. That's why things like Twinned spells are so powerful.

It might have been. But there don't appear to be any current threads in the forum regarding Generalist homebrew, and this is the best I have seen so far in my searches, both on and off this forum.

A possible change for the inventory is adding a quantity multiplier. For instance, if I were carrying 15 10-foot poles, then marked the weight as 7 and the quantity as 15, the sheet would automatically list the item as weighing 105 pounds.
