D&D 5E Magic Missile vs. Mirror Image

Pure gold. Making an object cold is usually not enough to "damage" it, at least not at the same rate as a body/creature (lots of exceptions, i know), and usually empty spaces aren't going to be affected by cantrips that can only be targeted at creature and objects. Fire bolt on the other hand...

Spells that could be improved / better designed

I missed my previous occasion to agree with... i think Corwin. Find Traps states that you know the "general nature of the danger" of a trap. "Deadly" is no nature. D&D 5E Magic Missile vs. Mirror Image

New numbers! :P 1) It's not the complete idea, but yes. Your target is still the caster of Mirror Image, anyways. In older editions, Mirror Images were not explicitly bound behind an attack, as defined in 5e. You (well, the caster of MI) still rolls to see if is he getting hit or not. Also...

D&D 5E [5e] Can a Tiny familiar share the same space as its master?

While i see Mounted Combat as a very very clever and RAW solution, and agree with the ways other have expressed to solve the issue, you are indeed missing one thing: The rule you are quoting doesn't say that the tiny creatures can occupy the same SPACE, but that up to 4 of those creatures can...

D&D 5E Magic Missile vs. Mirror Image

Exactly. But as you wrote, you are casting a spell. That's all it takes for invisibility to wear off. And if you still think that it requires an action, would an invisible sorcerer that is subtle casting a counterspell become visible? Yeah, he is still casting a spell, even while not using...
