Sorry for the miscommunication. Obviously, Magic the Gathering sells like hotcakes, while D&D is quite niche and limited in potential sales. I didn't mean to say that Wizards relies on sales of D&D, which obviously they don't. I meant the D&D division of WotC... but that point is fairly moot...

I'm playing (a sorcerer) in a 16th level/ 1 Mythic Tier game and there is a fighter with just insane damage. With feats like Vital Strike and Mythic Vital Strike, with Improved Critical, he averages 400 to 500 damage per round. That's just stupid broken, IMHO but the DM allows it.
