I replied directly to this, but I'll repeat here. For one-offs all rules will be taught and pre-gens provided. For the campaign we'll have probably a one-off game with pre-gens that I've run before, and then discuss character options choices. I've also got some plans for a halloween one-off.

Yup - works out of the box on linux, windows, mac os. No magic or additional drivers needed. You can even see them and boot off them in Open Firmware or through the apple os chooser (hold down option at boot) - if they've been setup appropriately that is.

That's no problem - usb storage works on all modern OS's, it'll be in PDF.

That's fine, it's just b&w text. USB stick or CD I can bring laptop just in case but it's heavy.

Thanks!! The biggest issue (I'm veggie which I've not found to be a problem here) is that Techbint (yes it's a self chosen nick) is intolerant of gluten. We'll figure something out though.

My wife, not signed up on ENWorld will be selecting her games in the next few days. I've just got back to the states so I hope to get the site up in the next few days. The hailer fits in that description quite well we're not playing at too high a level so Gospog should be ok with that.
