I don't know, if it says "You possess a spellbook book" that by the laws of language it means you have it in hand. In my game they get it for no cost since the PHB says "you possess".

Yes, you basically have the idea. Just a clarification, Utility powers can work similar at-will or encounter powers, the description will tell you how often and when you can use them.

Before getting married and becoming a father I would spend about $2000/ year on gaming stuff and about 3/4 of that money was on RPG related stuff (books,dice,software...ect). Now I'm down to about $500/year on gaming stuff. Still, compared to say Golf or Fishing it's very cheap at $2000/year.

I've had the books for almost two days now and the bidning and materials seemt to be of the same quality as 3.X. I think the layout is much improved over 3.x which I thought was way too busy looking and hard to use as a reference. I like the simple layout, it's nice clean and easy to scan...

You maybe right. When someone says something sucks, I take that as an objective statement. That they've used the info they know about it and they think it's and inferior product in comparison to similar products. Maybe they really mean "It's not my cup of tea".
