Should Sorcerers have a *unique* spell list like the Cleric or Psion?

Me thinks I have to check out Arcana Unearthed one of these days. It seems to get nothing but praise. Is Arcana Evolved replacing AU? In other words, AE is not just a supplement to AU but an actual *revision* with all material reprinted? Naw. The Sorcerer in the BoEM just have a different...

At what age did you start gaming?

Actually, you make an interesting point. In my experience, all the girl gamers that I know started gaming no younger than about 20-years of age. I wonder if this a trend in the RPG community?

At what age did you start gaming?

Back in the old days a player would have many PCs under his wing. I think that's because the game was more combat-oriented (like a wargame) and not so much focused on roleplaying and character development.

Should Sorcerers have a *unique* spell list like the Cleric or Psion?

Are you saying that each cleric of a different deity would just have a different selection of PHB divine spells? Or, are you saying like what I'm saying: They will literally have uniquely flavoured spells . . . no double ups. Your cleric of Pelor has "Lance of the Sun" while your cleric of...

Should Sorcerers have a *unique* spell list like the Cleric or Psion?

Ya, I know you can take what I'm saying to the max. You could have unique spells for each class, ie. the druid and cleric would have completely different flavoured spells, but I do understand D&D is a game, too, and can't be made too complicated. I guess the point of my gripe is that, in my...

Should Sorcerers have a *unique* spell list like the Cleric or Psion?

Clerics have a unique spell list. This gives them *flavour*. Psions (and the other psi-users) have a unique powers list. This gives them *flavour*. Anyway, I know that Wizards and Sorcerers are both *arcane* casters, but I was thinking the other day that it might be cool to give Sorcerers a...

At what age did you start gaming?

I have a theory that RPG gamers who love the game to death started at an early age. Early age I define as anywhere from 9 to 21. My theory also says that if you started gaming *after* this age, it is far less likely that you will treat gaming as an integral part of your life. In other words...

Kingdoms of Kalamar: Ask the Emperor!

Could Kalamar fit easily into the Great Wheel cosmology? Is the Kalamar pantheon finite or infinite? Please give me a brief description of the Kalamar cosmology. Is there demonlords and archdevils on Kalamar?

Scarred Lands: Ask the Sage [Nothing can stop me now!! *evil laugh*]

Are there any Scarred Lands adventure modules? Are they like an FR adventure? ie. they're heavily based around campaign events that take place in novels and PCs are puppeteered through 'em by the GM? If Mordenkainen wanted to make "first contact", who should he see? Just the first grumbling...

    d20 Blackmoor - Worth buying?

So which is the first *published* RPG setting? Is the answer "Both" because they were released, as you say, together? Or, is it Greyhawk because it in nominatively Supplement 1 as opposed to Supp. 2? Have you journeyed into the City of the Gods with Mr. Arneson GMing? Is the City of the Gods...

Yoink! The only 2 monsters in MM3 I was interested in I got for FREE! Suckers!!!!!!!!

2 old-school beasties from MM3 you can get for free here and here. Gnoll, Flind This monster first appeared in the 1E FF but I've never used it. Has anyone else used it? It seems a bit redundant if you ask me. If you want a Flind, just give a gnoll a pair of iron nunchukas! Kenku These first...

    Where did the bullywugs go?

No one could decide whether you call them: Bully-wugs (as in school bully) OR Buhly-wugs (as in sea gull)

Scarred Lands: Ask the Sage [Nothing can stop me now!! *evil laugh*]

Will the Scarred Land fit into the Great Wheel with not much problems? Or would it be like fitting a cacti into a balloon? Does the Scarred Land have a finite or infinite pantheon? Is there an Overgod? Are there Demonlords and Archdevils in the Scarred Land cosmology?

Have you ever been DMed by a famous game designer? The EGG or Monte?

Poor Bruce had probably just escaped from a mob of irate Planescape fans. PKitty, did Bruce run with a lot of crunch at the table (ie. dice-rolling, feat-use, monsters, skill-use, etc.), or was the game mainly story-based with a lot of rulings made on the fly?

I know that d20 is good in D&D, but what about other settings?

I'm playing d20 Judge Dredd at the moment and the rules just don't seem to be doing the setting justice. I don't know, I've left it in the GM's court, but I've suggested that he run Judge using the old Games Workshop rules (never played 'em though; so I've got no idea if they're good or not)...
