    Naval Warfare

2 cents: Personally I recoil against the simplification of naval warfare rules. Because combat on the seas has a much higher risk factor, I want everything drawn out. When you simplify things like mass combat in to large group attack rolls and such, sometimes the PC feels worthless, and when...

Marut are neutral and they kill people who have denied the grave.

    Black Dragons. Evil?

If you look in the Draconomicon it says that the eggs become sentient quite a while before they are hatched I believe. I'd say once they "turn on" they'd radiate an evil aura. The black dragons eggs radiate just the cutest darn evil aura you've ever seen!

    ninja, sudden strike and strategy

I'm sorry this is going to be so vauge, but somwhere further in that book it mentions (well, more of infers) that invisbility is broken if he attacks. Maybe under Ghost Face Killer? W/O that rule ninja are really, really, really, imbalanced.

don't insult the purpose of a door by locking it

Thats why they can't keep Burfoot in that evil plane (Thakarsis (sp?)).

    ninja, sudden strike and strategy

As long as the person is denied their dex to every one of your attacks, then you get sudden strike. If your DM is a big pain, he could say that after the first the sleeping person wakes up, and thus no sudden strike. If the character somehow becomes un-stunned in the middle of your attacks...

    ninja, sudden strike and strategy

I played a ninja. I'll share too: Dragonbreath arrows from one of the new books (maybe Complete Adventurer) are very fun. They only do 1d4, but if they hit, the target has to make a save of catch fire, which is good in long fights, or to dispatch pesky weaklings (casters). Carry Tanglefoot...

Pricing item that gives item creation feat

Depends on how much he abuses it. I mean, if he opens the forge to the community and suddenly the whole place is armed to the teeth (like dwarves already aren't), you could have some real bad stuff going on. On the other hand, if he is having this forge crafter just so he can make 1 or 2...

Pricing item that gives item creation feat

In races of stone there are several magic forges that allow you to bypass feats, one that allows you to never stop forging, and one that grants you spells solely for the purpose of crafting items. Have a look (Or ask someone else).

Hostile Empathic Transfer - too powerful?

Consider the following: Psion hitpoints are d4's. With 14 con, I think I have 32 at 7th level. Not to mention a bad attack. And you can will save for half. You'd be much better using max augmented crystal shard. At 7th you do 8d6 on a ranged touch, no save, only resistances. Psychich...

An example of a Djinn (fallen cherubim)

I assumed we were speaking in terms of christianity (or perhaps judaism as well) when it reffered to choirs of angels. In any event, I have a question. Supposed this guy is killed. What happens to his demi-plane? Suppose his demi-plane is destroyed/collapsed. What happens to him?

An example of a Djinn (fallen cherubim)

Since I assume your posting this purely for flavor, I have a question purely in the intrest of flavor: Why does God let people leave heaven? I mean after I let Satan go, I'd have a pretty strict "Anybody who falls, falls dead" policy.

    Great Bow

I believe there is a Grand Bow which kicks it up to a d12. And the Grandcrossbow does I think 2d8. Great and Grand Weapons. Making ranged characters way to damn powerful since whenever they were first printed.

    Spellcraft Puzzle

I'd give him the bonus if he had the "Limited Edition Compedium on The Construction, Destruction, Existence, Myths, Reality and Color of the Weave" A book by Wee Zard. As opposed to a regular book on magic formula, the similarities of the arcane gestures of the same schoo, etc.

    Spellcraft Puzzle

I don't think you can have 24 languages at 8th:You can purchase Speak Language just like any other skill, but instead of buying a rank in it, you choose a new language that you can speak.

    Spellcraft Puzzle

When your familiar gets high enough int, you can have him aid you too. It says Some skills may be on a familairs ability, but I'd let a 12+ int toad help in spellcraft if he's spent all that team teetering around the wizard and basically connected to his brain.

    Spellcraft Puzzle

4th level = 7 ranks. + 4 Int = 11 Skill Focus = 14 Magical Aptitude = 16 Synergy = 18 Specialization = 20. You could take a level in Courtier. Whenever you skill focus you gain +4 instead of +3. But thats no only 3rd edition, but Roukugan as well.
