Kind of. I think it's more like not buying a comic book because it has an ad in it for Sea-Monkeys, and nobody should ever be allowed to have the hated Sea-Monkeys.;)

Okay. First off, you can't claim that you're fine with other people having or playing what they want, and at the same time try to exert counter pressure against inclusion by saying you'll quit playing the game (translation: quit buying the game) if it's included. In other words, you're not...

Explain to me please, the logic of this statement. How does an element that can easily be separated from the game and ignored, change the whole game? It's not like we're talking about adding salt to water. What we're talking about is having Salt and Pepper on the table and you choose what to...

Yeah, I think it can. It's a fine line. Once the magic is lost, it's hard to get it back.;)

While for my purposes I'd be happy with an Unearthed Arcana version, there are some Warlord fans who play Adventurers League that want an official one. I'd like to see that happen for them. You're Welcome. It's been fun and informative for me too. Thanks.

I don't agree. The Warlord is consistent with the conceits expressed in the games rules. Ahhh...that explains the above comment. This isn't correct. Hit Points are, as the rules say, a mix of meat, mental, and luck. I haven't noticed any Warlord fans saying otherwise. Warlords do affect...

Spot On!!! I'm assuming you mean technology in a fantasy game? Or just that Magic is the "technology" of D&D? Either way, my thoughts on this mirror Clarke's Third Law: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." I use this concept in my games. My campaign...

You absolutely have the choice of viewing it as magic or not. Even actual Berserker's viewed it as Magic. We of course, in our modern society, know that it isn't Magic - but I'm sure there are still people around the World who consider this and similar things to still be Magic. (Ki, for...

It does not require someone else, but someone else can facilitate it. Nobody is perfect. Nobody is optimal. Everybody can improve. There's always room for improvement.

Because there is no Magic in your body. I was using Spirit as Courage, Heart, Focus, Intent. Does Rocky win because of Magic? Did the death of Mickey not inspire Rocky to greater heights? Did the death of Apollo Creed not do the same? There's no Magic there; and especially not when in D&D...

Nobody functions optimally all the time, which is why we have D20 rolls and every hit isn't an automatic crit. This is a fundamental flaw in the logic you're presenting.

@Lord Twig Maybe this will serve as an example of the difference between Leadership and Authority - one that doesn't get into the more philosophical or intangible aspects of Leadership. Air Force CSAR (combat search and rescue) helicopter crews usually consist of four members (not counting...

    D&D 5E Purple Dragon Knight = Warlord?

Ahhh...okay, I get it. There's still contradictions in his logic, just not the perceived contradiction I was seeking clarification on (only the contradiction I highlighted previously). The contradiction that remains is only as concerns the issue of Inspirational Recovery supposedly being...

You've used a definition that uses itself to define it. In other words, all you've said is that Leadership is one who has the capacity and initiative to Lead. But what is Leading? By definition, Leading can be "to direct with authority"; but it also means "to guide...to show...to influence"...

    D&D 5E Purple Dragon Knight = Warlord?

For clarification purposes, and please correct me if I'm wrong, you're saying that healing potions support a non-magical game even when you describe them as "supernatural", the link you posted to describes them as "magical antidotes", and the PHB itself says: ...do I have that right? This...

No. The effective result is the same, but what happens on the way there are two very different things.

Coaches most definitely do give guidance and feedback during games. Even in European Football, coaches yell input from the sidelines quite often. But coaches aren't the only example. In American Football, the primary "Leader" position is the quarterback. They most definitely call out...

No. Sorry if that is inconvenient or annoying for you, but...actually No, I'm not sorry. You play your way, I'll play my way. And I certainly don't think it's unwarranted to ask WotC to make the game edition that had Inclusiveness as one of its goals, actually be Inclusive. Cheers and Game On.

Not really. That's a common misconception about Leadership. Instead of re-fluffing, I'd recommend attempting to better understand what Leadership is.:)
