WotC has ended support for Living Forgotten Realms (and the RPGA, too)

While I can't really speak to what was planned at the outset of LFR, I don't know that accessibility was one of its original goals, so much as it is/was intended tobe for 4E, what Living Greyhawk was to 3.X. If you mean accessibility from the point of view that you can play it everywhere (in a...

WotC has ended support for Living Forgotten Realms (and the RPGA, too)

[EDIT] Because it's been asked later in this thread - I'm speaking (at least in this thread) as an LFR Admin. Pronouns like "we" and "us" should be taken as such. Any and all mistakes I make, however, are wholly my own. :) Hi! I'm an LFR Admin, and while I've only had time to skim this...

I love you WotC! (DM Rewards Stuff)

Last I heard, "It's all Dungeons and Dragons" - in fact at DDXP last month, we allowed anyone who wanted to run any edition of D&D to do so right in the main hall. Rumor has it (I haven't been able to get a full confirmation on this yet) that there's work underway to allow the WER (Wizards...

I love you WotC! (DM Rewards Stuff)

Since others have chipped in on the myriad procedures to get up and running as a new judge - including how to register for private play - I'll leave those particular pros to their expert knowledge. I will chip in, however, that the form I linked above (from the "Join WPN" button) - is a new...

I love you WotC! (DM Rewards Stuff)

That's AWESOME. Our regular players buy more or less all the 4E books as soon as they come in, partly to say "thank you" to the store, and partly because, well, they're RIGHT THERE and they want them. :) I agree Organized Play helps the store AND the players.

I love you WotC! (DM Rewards Stuff)

It's as easy as filling out the form here: http://www.wizards.com/Company/WPN/Default.aspx One of the things that helped me "sell" RPGA/WPN play to my FLGS was pointing out that these aren't (usually) all-day long games - which is what my store owner didn't want. These are regular, but...

I love you WotC! (DM Rewards Stuff)

As a rule of thumb there are two kinds of DM Rewards: 1) A free adventure every year. You get this for joining the DM Rewards program and/or for updating your information annually. These tend to get mailed out around the same time that "regular" DM Rewards are mailed. In theory I think...

    Paying for Game Day

Ultimately every store has to decide if they charge for events or not (be they WotC events, UDE events, GW events, etc). There are a lot of factors that go into the decision making - the amount of space available for gaming vs. the popularity of gaming at that venue is just one factor I can...

    Paying for Game Day

Much like mudbunny, above, I'm going to make sure people at WotC (including the RPGA Content Manager) hear about this in full. While its' generally up to a store to decide if they charge for RPGA events (like LFR games) - such fees should be reasonable and clearly stated as being implemented by...

Dynamic Excel "Wiesbaden Charactersheet" D&D (v1.11)

My Fey Pact warlock is distressed to see that the power cards don't allow the selection of "CHA" in the ability box.
