Froghemoths & Flail Snails - Oh My! Chris Perkins' New Adventure Sneak Peek

Bring on the undead! A Ravenloft AP would be sweet, but I'd definitely nerd out over a Barrier Peaks redux.

[UPDATED] Out of the Abyss Reviews Have Started Rolling In

Well, I do feel that it is reasonable to charge for a digital version of a book, particularly if it results in additional compensation to the authors of the text.

[UPDATED] Out of the Abyss Reviews Have Started Rolling In

Nope. Artists for hire never make "plenty of money." I find it quite refreshing that they are able to retain the intellectual property rights to the works so that they can sell high res versions on their own at low cost as accessories. I'm happy to pay those artists for their work, and I don't...

D&D 5E What to play after finishing the D&D Starter Set? - new blog post

Doing LMoP now with my kids, and I've been internally debating going into PoA or OotA. I've got some time, so reviews will be helpful.

FORBES: Out of the Abyss preview

Sounds like a total blast to me. And man, D&D players are a tough crowd. Someone else said this a few weeks ago, and I agree with him completely: I'm glad I'm not in WotC's development or marketing team, because the reactions are so polarized it'd be impossible to figure out how to please the base.

D&D 5E 1 Year later: D&D still strong on amazon

Well, D&D is up at least one fan in me. I hadn't played since 2e. I bought some Essentials stuff a year and half ago, and hardly looked at it. I picked up 5e a few months ago and I feel like I'm 14 again. Loving every word (and new book) I can find.

D&D 5E Ravenloft in 5e: What would you like to see?

Ravenloft, IMHO, was a fantastic adventure, and would make a wicked cool AP. But as a campaign setting, it was a bit much for me. I'd love to see one of WotC next big book adventures take it on, but keep it setting neutral.

Mike Mearls on stuff... (Tome Show interview from GenCon)

As a 38-year-old with three kids who has desire but no time to homebrew, I wholeheartedly agree. Though I would like some smaller/shorter modules too.

D&D 5E Campaign setting strategy: Would a big campaign setting guide followed by regional books be better?

Those box sets were fun. I think they should go back to those for campaign settings, but use the bigger boxes (a la the 5e starter set or the 4e nouveau red box) so they could be bigger, better. I'd pay for those.

D&D 5E Rage of Demons more details.

Yes, this. Personally, I think the AP sounds cool. but if it didn't interest me, I'd skip it. Why get bent out of shape?

Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide: The First Official D&D 5E Setting

Too much FR? Maybe. But I'm a middle aged guy with disposable income, so I'll buy it anyway and not complain.

Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide: The First Official D&D 5E Setting

If WOTC released jelly beans I would totally buy them but they'd surely not be as good as TSR's jelly beans. It's like those generic Easter jelly beans vs. Jelly Bellies.
